Hi, all,
Time once again to say hi with some happy mail with our Quarter 4 2023 card exchange. There's a question in the sign up to indicate if you celebrate Halloween or not. If you'd prefer a fall card or some other type of card, just indicate as such in the sign up and I'm sure we'll all do our best to accommodate. I also usually get a couple of questions as to how many to expect. We've been running right around 25-30 participants for these quarterly card exchanges. (Please also note: I will open a separate holiday card exchange sometime mid October. We had two rounds last year.) This exchange will be open for sign up until September 16th. I'll get the list sent out September 17th (ish). Cards are due by the early November.
Rules (as usual):
1. You may use the name and address that you’re comfortable sharing. PEA name only? OK! First name only? OK! Dog’s name? OK! PO Box? OK! The form does require your Pea name in order that we can satisfy the requirement of rule 4.
2. The type of card you send (handmade, store bought, photo, postcard) is entirely up to you.
3. Please send to as many PEAS as you are able to. Please note that you may receive more or less cards than you send out.
4. This exchange is for active members of the board. Therefore, the exchange is restricted to members with at least 50 posts (Junior Member rank) or above.

Update 9/9: Okay, I'm losing it. Last week I was looking at last year's responses! So revised number for the current (accurate) count of our swap is 25 at the moment. With 1 week left to sign up. I apologize to anyone who has already produced 30 cards. You might have some extras.

I couldn’t find a Halloween sentiment stamp in my stash. I’m not sure if I really don’t have one, or if there’s some still packed. Either way, I’m doing some shopping, too!

This is a quote from the email I received IMHO end of October/early November are pretty much one and the same: “ Please plan to send your cards to arrive by no later than the end of October.” I’m reasonably sure that if yours go out in early November everyone will still be more than happy to receive them. |
