Nothing. I am pretty flexible. As long as I have my loved ones near I can deal with anything that isn't quite right.

Well these responses are disappointing! Here I was looking to find out everyone else's OCD type stuff!
My list is waaay to long for me to list here for fear someone will tell me I need therapy! Some things are . . .
The music. I still use my 5 CD player and change them out constantly. I want upbeat music for during the day, jazzy instrumental for the evenings and classical instrumental for my Sundays.
My menu for my yearly Wrapping Party (it changes every year, but I must have 5 hot things, 5 cold and I rotate between mulled cider, my aunt-in-law's amazing punch & eggnog). My menu for Christmas Eve is always the same (manicotti made from scratch) as is Christmas morning breakfast (baked apple & blueberry oatmeal).
I will take photos each year of my decorations (including my Christmas Village) so I can repeat what worked.
I could go on . . .
And while getting there can stress me a little, it's what makes this time of year special for me so I don't mind it at all!

My caramels. If I get nothing else done, I still have to make my caramels. And truthfully even if I didn't get any made it'd still be Christmas so i don't really stress over anything.

I don't have any hard and fast rules. However, if it makes you feel better to hear my weird hangup during the holidays. I can only listen to the Sinatra channel on Sirius between Thanksgiving and Christmas. it's also better if its snowy. I don't know why but that music just goes with snowy holiday for me. Probably left over from too many classic holiday movies like White Christmas as a kid.

Fudge! My mother always made fudge for Christmas and I've taken that to the extreme. I adore our home made real deal old fashioned whipped fudge recipe. I've tweaked and modified my grandmother's recipe until it's perfect and then had even more fun making new flavors. This year I was sad because I didn't have a stand mixer to whip it, and I didn't have the time or inclination to do the whipping by hand. One of my good friends found out I wasn't making fudge and loaned me her stand mixer for the season. She's the best and I'm so thrilled I get to make fudge this year after all.

Some things are . . . LOL. Trust me, there are other topics if I responded here people would think I need therapy. Although, my sister's insistance that my little family Christmas tradition is ridiculous, she probably thinks I need therapy, lol! Enjoy your holiday traditions, no matter what anybody else thinks.

I don't have anything that has to be "just so" but I do make sure that I watch certain Christmas movies every year. I don't care if house work get left undone I WILL watch my movies!
*Its a Wonderful life *A Christmas Story *Christmas Vacation (several times!) *Rudolph *Home Alone etc.

Not a damned thing. Each year I'm becoming more and more of a Grinch, I swear, if it wasn't for the kids I'd cancel Christmas. I guess I don't like the pressure Christmas brings, you have to buy presents, you have to decorate, etc. etc. - I'm a rebel that way, I don't like to HAVE to do anything

We have an ornament party every year and I guess that is where it must be exactly like I like it. I cook/bake/coordinate everything. I don't want guests to have to bring anything but the ornament. It's a chance to have our friends over to just relax and enjoy the evening. Everything else, I can usually be flexible, but the ornament party - that's all my style/menu.

I hate the work but love the results. Nothing is ever "just so" in my world. I like things just so but don't have the ability to make it happen. I wish I did but "good enough" has to be good enough for me. Maybe if I knew the results would be beautiful I might enjoy the effort more.

There are a few things that I am particular about at Christmas time.
We have to be home, just our immediate family, on Christmas Day. We do not travel or visit on that day. Anyone is welcome to stop by for a visit if they want but we do not go out.
Gifts go under the tree as they are wrapped. No bags, they are all in boxes. I like to watch them accumulate, love the anticipation of everyone trying to guess what they might be getting, and consider them a big part of the decor.
No gifts opened prior to Christmas Day.
Have to watch 'Borrowed Hearts' with dd every year.
None of these things are stressful or difficult to achieve though.
