Inspired by the current/upcoming holiday releases, do you prefer gold or silver in holiday collections? TIA.

I prefer silver for holiday AND non-holiday releases. Me too, even in my non-crafting life silver is my preference.

I had to think hard about this! IRL, I'm team silver. But for Christmas I prefer gold overall (but not by much)

Definitely silver for sentimental reasons.
BUT, I tend to like bright red, white, bits of green and black. Metallics in a Christmas line is not a must for me.

My preference is red, green and white. If there has to be a metallic color, then silver.
I don't care for gold. If there is gold in a product or collection, then I don't buy it.

I chose both, but I seldom use them both on one project.
I like blue & silver or red with gold

I like both, but I’m not going to use them together. Christmas is the one time of year when I’m enthusiastic about gold. I think it looks great with traditional red and green. But I’m cool with silver and non traditional colors too. As long as it makes sense as part of the overall color scheme I’m happy for any shiny stuff.

I like silver with light blues and pinks. For the traditional reds and greens I go with gold.
If I’m using paper that already has one of those elements I’ll stick with that. However I rarely use both on the same layout or card.

Silver, because it matches my Christmas decor.

I simply cannot commit. For jewelry, my left hand is gold and my right hand is silver. When it comes to crafting, I think I am a bot the same way. Both depending on the paper.

I like gold with red and green, but the antique gold.
I also like silver and gold. My Mom loved the song “Silver and Gold” by Burl Ives.

Silver, because it matches my Christmas decor. Mine too, except my peacock tree in my craft room absolutely calls for gold.

I'm another one who prefers silver tones IRL but gold in my albums. I wouldn't want to use it every year but I also love a copper colour.

I much prefer silver, not a fan of gold foiling in most SB lines as it’s usually too bright for me. For Christmas projects I do like gold, especially with red, but prefer a muted or antique gold. I will mix metallics in my album, but not on the same page. I am always happy when a SB line uses silver instead of gold for metallic accents

I voted "gold" but it has to be a good gold. Not the in your face brassy gold. I also like silver, esp. with wintry, snowy papers.

I'm a silver girl through and through! I think growing up with a mom who had extremely curated Christmas decor of gold and mauve has me turned off from most anything gold at Christmastime.

For me it depends on the collection. Personally I feel that silver goes better with certain colours/designs while gold works better with other colours/designs.

I wear a lot of silver/white gold, but for some reason I prefer the warmth of gold on my pages.

I think I have a couple of close-ups saved to my cloud, lemme see if I can find my Flickr password. Found it but it’s been forever since I’ve used it. Let’s see if I can do this correctly! Apparently not…help!

dewryce your peacock tree is GORGEOUS! To share the photo here: When you open the photo on Flickr, there are four icons on the bottom right of the page: Pen (to edit), Arrow right (to share), Arrow down (to download) and Shopping Cart. Click on the Arrow Right to share A pop up box will appear. There are three tabs at the top: Share, Embed, and BBCode. Click on BBCode. Make sure the link is highlighted. It will look something like this: url=https://flic.kr/p/2oSvLdy but with square brackets around it. CTRL C to copy the link Then come back to your post and CTRL V to paste. When you save the post, or click on the Preview button on the bottom left of your post, you will see your photo. If you need to change the size of the photo on your post, you click on the drop down arrow just under the link in Flickr, and choose a bigger or smaller size. I hope this is straightforward! I have copied your gorgeous photo here: I always click on the preview button before I post photos, to make sure the size is okay, and also to get rid of the "IMG_1234 by AussieMeg, on Flickr" next to the photo when you post.
