Thanks again for all your support and donations.
We still haven't heard anything. I'm so cross that the route to treatment us so narrow and we aren't getting anywhere 😩

Prayers for you family. People around where I live refuse to believe COVID is resurfacing. I’ve always felt it would rear it’s ugly head in the fall and winter, just like the flu.

Hi Sue, how are you all getting on? How is Rachel? Thank you for asking. I'm fine now, just a bit of a cough and my youngest is about the same. Rachel is feeling so much better today- she is desperate to get out and I'm having to beg her to just be patient and not exert herself, but she's so used to running miles every day she's like a caged animal! Her main symptoms now are still a very sore throat, laryngitis and fatigue ( but she has awful fatigue due to MS so it's hard to know if the covid has exacerbated that. ) She's been very encouraged by the messages on her fundraising page and the concern and generosity sites received. She's so grateful!

She's so grateful! That's great news, but she really does have to be careful not to over-exert. She really doesn't want long Covid. I believe the current variants are not as likely to cause that as the original ones, but anyone with an existing autoimmune problem is more at risk. Listen to the fatigue, and pace. You'll both know that already - forgive me for the grandmothers and egg-sucking! Hugs to you all, and keep getting better and better.

I hadn’t heard that, you would think my rheumatologist would have mentioned it, so thank you! Sue, I’m glad your daughter is doing better and hope everyone continues to improve.
