I like to be comfortable but stylish. I wear elastic waist, dark colored pants like hiking leggings. They are thicker than regular leggings and could pass for pants. I like to layer on top, so I wear a t shirt and a full zip hoodie. I am always cold on the plane. For international flights, I like to put the hoodie up while I'm sleeping. I wear sneakers that coordinate with the outfit.

Stretchy loser fitting jeans, oversize tshirt with a bee neck that is super soft, slip on tennis shoes/walking athletic shoes, that are well fitting but not too tight, I carry a oversize hoodie, oh and a comfy sports bra and underwear. that’s about it. The hoodie is more to use as a wear on backwards blanket if I get chilly and I can flip the hood up over my face to block out people! Nothing I wear has by logo or design. Shirt and hoodie is basically white, tan, gray or black, same for hoodie with blue colored jeans. People won’t bother or notice me too much I dislike nosy seat mates and lately nosy kids.

On a flight right now. Wearing compression leggings on the bottom and a flowey tank and cardigan combo on top. Comfortable short boots on my feet.

On our last two trips, we have flown from a Melbourne winter to the heat and humidity of SE Asia. I wear layers so that I am warm going to the airport and on the plane, then I can take off some layers when we arrive. On my most recent flight in July I wore a long skirt, a t-shirt, and a cardigan. I wore slides on my feet, and packed some socks in my carry-on in case my feet got cold. On my previous flight, I wore leggings under a sun dress, with a cardigan. I'm sure I looked ridiculous, but at least I was comfortable and could easily strip off unwanted layers (leggings and cardigan) when we arrived. Oh! Hahaha. My 50 year old brain did not even catch that. So sorry. Sadly, my 56yo brain got the joke on the second reading!

Comfy stretch jeans and a nice t-shirt or top & a blazer/cardigan/jean jacket. Tennis shoes. With TSA pre-check you can leave your shoes on. I also pack a pashmina in my bag.
Comfy but nice.

Stretchy pants/leggings and a hoodie, and the hoodie will be over my face for most of the flight. Or, a long dress with leggings and a jacket. And my UGG zebra print platform sandals, because why not, and because the TSA agents love them and they're easy on and off for security. If you see a woman in the Atlanta airport walking around in those, it's probably me.

I’m laughing at some of the replies - I know you’re all taking a flight in a plane, but some of them just sound so weird for the flights I’m more used to. DH and I are currently on holiday in Europe, so our flight schedule was: 17 hours, Auckland to Dubai 2.75 hours layover in Dubai 7 hour flight Dubai to Copenhagen.
So definitely no make up. Definitely no sandals. Shoes and socks that remain on the whole time (comfortable sports shoes) because there aren’t any shoes that I could put back on during flights that long. Comfortable trousers - widish legs, elastic waist. Tee shirt with elbow length sleeves Most comfortable bra I own (no wires)
I take a pashmina-type shawl that I can wrap up in if I get cold.
Everything is all about comfort, not style, on a 17 hour flight!

Im not looking to impress anyone on an airplane, nor does anyone care if anyone else is wearing name brand clothing!

I just got back from Europe last week. My plane outfit consists of black leggings, compression socks, t shirt and a flannel or a cardigan and Skechers slip ins. I always have a large scarf in my carry on to use as a blanket if I get cold. I had shorts and sandals in my carry on too, but I waited until I got to the hotel to put them on.

Black Vuori performance leggings White Veja sneakers Black and white striped cropped top Jean jacket or a cozy sweater to layer I wear a version of this, too. In the winter, I’m wearing my boots and either a coat if it’s going to be cold where I’m going, or a packable puffer if it’s not going to be cold.

Athleta pants that are super comfy & have some give, cotton tee, cardigan and a big scarf that sometimes gets put into use as a blanket because planes can get crazy cold. I wear trainers and cozy socks.

Knit pants, long sleeve t, sweater. Denim jacket is not comfortable for a long flight in my opinion, and slip on sneakers to make taking off and putting on shoes comfortable.

Depends... LOL
For me I have to consider whether I am traveling for work and have to go to the office after arriving or if I am going straight to the hotel (or if I am on vacation). But almost always, comfy jeans and tennis shoes, a t-shirt and blazer or jacket

Yoga pants or joggers, white t-shirt, jean jacket, white tennis shoes. I also bring a light blanket in my carryon in case I get chilly.

When I had to take a long flight this summer I found some 'travel' pants that were awesome! They are stretchy but flowy, so nicer looking than leggings. I'm not thin so leggings aren't my friend out in public. I wanted to be able to get off the plane and still look put together. I loved them so much I bought another pair and have worn them to work.

joggers that have elastic waist and are stretchy. made the mistake of skinny jeans to paris - i almost *died*. another time wore pants that were looser but not stretchy and no one in seat next to me - tried to curl up with feet on seat next to me - and was cutting off my circulation.
thin long sleeve or short sleeve (pending destination), with some kinda of hoodie or sweater. i ALWAYS bring a scarf that can double as a throw. and then i usually wear my blundstone boots - they slip on/off and are my heaviest footwear so would rather them on my bod than in my luggage.

T-shirt, jogger sweatpants (https://www.costco.com/splendid-ladies'-jogger.product.100813861.html), and a hoodie (usually a zip-up one). Always, always tennis shoes and socks because airport floors are gross.

I wear black leggings and a long top, with a shawl that I can wrap around my neck or around me. And compression socks.

I wear a pair of joggers, tee, and long cardigan or jean jacket. I always wear sneakers that are easy to slide on and off. My feet get really uncomfortable on planes and I need to have the option to slip them off. I started wearing compression socks and that has helped.

I just flew.. wore jeans/Billy Joel tee shirt and my Hey Dude shoes. Easy peasy. Whenever I wear my Billy Joel concert tee-shirt, I swear EVERY single time I get comments on it. I mean it doesn't matter what race, gender, or age.. I get comments on it. So guess it was worth the $50 some dollars I paid for it.. haha.
If longer flights over a couple of hours.. probably not jeans but some kind of leggings/yoga pants and tennis shoes.

Black nice yoga pants or black slacks - comfy waistband. Black tank or t-shirt and sweater or cardigan over the top. Slip on shoes or booties depending on weather. I'm always cold, so layers are key!!
