MichyM, although you haven't been a cardmaker for too long, you have a natural talent and I find so much inspiration from the cards you share with us. Even though I don't comment that often, please know that I am always admiring them. Thank you!!!

I missed this as I was on a cruise. Any chance anyone would be willing to send me the Crafty Al sentiments?

I signed up mainly to watch the Karen Burniston video. When she was a guest on a past (different sponsor) card making summit, she had given a coupon code for a discount on orders from her site. I love her pop up dies and had several in my wish list. I signed up, hoping for a discount code, and that was the only reason I signed up.
I watched a couple of classes by other instructors on the first day, and I didn’t really get that excited about either of them, although I seriously considered buying one stamp set that was used in one of the classes..
On Saturday, I watched Karen Burniston’s demo. Sadly, there was no coupon code at the end, but I ordered some of Karen’s die sets anyway, since I’d been planning to buy them regardless.
I didn’t bother watching any classes on Sunday.
I had chosen the free option. I’ve been stamping and making cards for decades. Most techniques are just reruns of what used to be popular in card making. It’s truly rare that I see some new technique that I haven’t seen before, so I don’t pay for basic classes. I could see from the card samples shown that there wasn’t going to be anything shown that would be new to me, and I wasn’t excited about any of the cards shown as samples.
I’d rather spend the money on dies, stamps, Copics, etc., than pay for “lifetime access” for a summit that didn’t really catch or keep my interest.
