Here is the new GOP plan to fund Israel. On Monday, the House Rules Committee proposed a $14 billion package to help bolster Israel's military as it continues warring with Hamas, and the monies would be slashed from the Internal Revenue Service to stop its efforts to probe deep-pocketed tax cheats, according to the Washington Post."I understand their priority is to bulk up the IRS," Johnson said in an interview with Fox News. "But I think if you put this to the American people and they weigh the two needs, I think they're going to say standing with Israel and protecting the innocent over there is in our national interest and is a more immediate need than IRS agents." Republicans are seeking to make marked cuts to the IRS after moving to undo the IRS expansion dictated in Biden's Inflation Reduction Act last year of which they already rescinded $20 billion from the original $80 billion price tag that was established as part of a compromise to raise the country's debt ceiling. Meanwhile, Senate Majority Leader Charles E. As noted there is a Webb Telescope which apparently these idiots don’t know about. I did a quick google and the Hubble has been going in and out of safe mode. There is some problem with the software but it is functioning. The Webb Telescope has been making news for what it has been sending back to earth. So it appears the President was talking about what the Webb Telescope has been sending back to earth. It is taking better picture. The link show pictures of the same spot in space taken by both telescopes and the Webb Telescope’s picture was a lot better. It would be because it’s newer and more then likely has technology that was not available when Hubble was sent into space. |

I think if the Republicans in the House want to cut spending I think we should start with their salary. The reality is they have done nothing that benefits the American People. Seriously since they have gained the majority all they have done is hold revenge hearings and find ways to cut the IRS budget that they believe will help their rich donors. So why should they get paid?

it is not the traffic that is a huge concern.. though it will be bad.. locals are more worried about seniors who live in 8 large complexes within the "zone" and will have a difficult time getting people in to help or meals on wheels or getting out since they can often not walk far.. and the restaurants who think they will have to shut down as they need daily deliveries to work.. the city better pony up money to get them through this.
