I'd never have made it inside because the bare dirt would have been a real turn-off. That’s a blank canvas for some xeriscaping and maybe a hut if grass and greenery. My first thought as well! No pesky grass to water. Native plants and skulls and ceramics. I do hate the stone on the house and the loft, though. So overall I only want to do an estate sale.

I really want the vacuum though! My grandma had one like that and those things last forever - clearly 😜. I know! I was thinking that even the vacuum cleaner fit the age of the house!

They have a very strong sense of style. It's my style, but I do applaud people who go all out with what they love in their home.

That was fun! I had a big smile on my face the whole time I was looking at the pictures. But, I was also shaking my head. LOL

Did they put some kind of filter on the photos? They just seem off?

Is the vaccuum cleaner a decorative piece? Why do they have the legs of a yeti in the living room (pic 8) How do they use the kitchen worktops? How do they get in the bath?
I have so many questions!

In all honesty, for the size and location of the house $600K isn't a bad price. However, if you haven't taken the 3D tour, please do so. If you think the pictures are a trip hang on to your hats.
How many extra beds do they NEED? There is one stuck in every nook and cranny. LOL
And I NEED that cat picture.
ETA: That part of Denver is definitely OLD money.

It's miserable. Constant flights 24 hours. No sign of improvement. I was at the Centennial Airpot noise control meeting this week and people are pissed. I will be moving in 3 years.

The neighborhoods and schools near our airports have installed extra soundproofing in the attics and homes. I'm not sure what was done, but I remember lots of discussion when a school was going to be built near the airport.

It's not jets, it's the low flying, sometimes at 500 feet above my home of the propeller planes from the flight schools. Another, all about making money, airports and sacrificing communities and health. Also, they are using cheap, leaded fuel, so increased lead found in our area.

We lived quite close to the base so the jets would fly very low over our house at takeoff and landing. That sounds very disruptive. It seems like they could build flight schools in less populated areas to prevent these kinds of issues.

Here's a screenshot of flight activity at 11:30 today. One flight instructor from the flight school talked at the noise meeting and said that there's at least one school that sometimes does not adhere to the flight pattern suggested- that was interesting. There's other flight schools at the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport near Superior and there's a big meeting VERY IMPORTANT Attorney General Meeting with Phil Weiser to discuss these issues. on Oct. 23 at Superior. This is happening all over the country.

Some of those things are DEFINITELY going to stay, including the cat painting, the swordfish, the tufted wool llama wall hanging, and the awesome green velvet couch in the basement. And probably that bronze bull and maybe a few other things. I like that Miss Havisham and Estella have their night clothes ready to go on the day bed in the loft and on the wall of the bedroom. I appreciate the attempt at new flooring in the basement bathroom and the new counter in the kitchen, but why not try updating both together...those darn budget constraints! This is true Maximalism. Just needs a guiding hand from someone willing to dump every single cherub in the foundation bin at Goodwill. I could really have fun in there. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I wonder if the owner has been residing in a home somewhere for several years. The furniture look furniture looks strangely perfect given how old it must be.

I didn't realize there were other flight schools there too. I work just down from Centennial Airport and the jet noise is crazy! Thank goodness I'm in an office building and not my house.

Colorado is a beautiful state and the bathrooms seem spacious. That’s all I’ve got. That was good! I just seriously laughed out loud.

I couldn’t see the house for all the stuff in the way. Who doesn’t move a vacuum to take a real estate photo? I loved the show of the bedroom shot by the bad, all I could look at was the cheap metal frame under the bed.
