Yay! I'll need to join the FB group.
I just ordered some goodies off their clearance this morning 4 hours ago and its already at the post office. Fastest order ever. Usually takes a week just to process it , so I wonder if they hired some extra help with shipping. Hopefully this means boxes will ship out faster than usual.

So I just went through all the content lists and homework video. They are very well organized this time. I love companies who listen and make changes to make their customers happy.
I can not wait to see all the class products now.

I wonder if Pretty Pink Posh will also have a coupon code.
I haven’t been through the files on the Facebook page yet. I am super happy about a before and after code for PF. I always seem to find things I wish I had purchased during the event. :-)

I looked over the homework list, I’m surprised they aren’t using any colored cardstock except for black. I thought they mentioned in the last event that was a frequent suggestion in the feedback. I’m so glad they posted all this info early. I can’t wait to get my box. I think we are getting quite a bit of product for the price. I’m probably going to hold off watching the video until my box gets here. That’s as much Team Wait I have in me. I’m also grateful that they are giving the discount code before and after the event. Overall I’m totally impressed with the changes PFS has made with this event. My crafty mojo has been in the dumps that last few months so the anticipation for this event has gotten me really excited.

For those of you who have the PinkFresh ink cubes, are you happy with them. Are they plenty juicy? I’m thinking about splurging on the cubes with the discount code.

They used a lot of colored card stock in the holiday event, but didn't provide it or even offer an assortment pack for sale, so folks complained that it was complicated (if you subbed) and/or expensive (if you wanted all the specified products) to gather all the colors. But I got the impression somewhere that they did that because in the event prior to the holiday cardmaking one, folks complained about having to ink blend white stock to make all the right colors. Damned if you do; damned if you don't.

That's why I'm surprised they are not using colored cardstock in the Feb event.

pinklady, I have a full set of PF ink cubes and really like them. I did buy all the reinkers to go with them, but find I don't reink very often. Not unless I use a specific color for a ton of ink blending. I chose cubes over full-sized pads because I already have a full-sized complete set of Catherine Pooler inks, and so no real need for another full-sized set and I have been very happy with my choice.

That’s great news because I just bought the full set of cubes. The two cube bundles were already on sale and it took the 15% off the sale price with our code! I’m happy they are giving another code after class. I’ll swatch all the cubes and then I can pick up a couple reinkers for colors I may use the most.

I just tried buying the second set of cubes - it's on sale for $78.12 (down from regular price of $82) - and with the discount code (15%)/shipping ($12.50)/sales tax (6%) it costs $83.27!
Nothing is "cheap" anymore.

I couldn't find anything about free shipping on the site. Is that the threshold for free shipping?

With the discount bundle 1 was $132.80 and bundle 2 was $66.40.

I just got the re-inkers for bundle 2. No tax or shipping so pretty happy. Too bad I ordered a few days ago from the clearance and payed shipping 🙃 but saved money on them so its okay. Now I'm on freeze for the next 2 months.

For those of you who have the PinkFresh ink cubes, are you happy with them. Are they plenty juicy? I’m thinking about splurging on the cubes with the discount code. I have had the original cubes for almost a year and the new ones for a couple of months now. I use them all the time and they stay pretty juicy except I found that I prefer the lightest color to be juicier so that it doesn’t take forEVER to lay down that shade. That said, I have all the original reinkers as well as the lightest ones for the newer set. I just ordered the remainder of the reinkers with the discount. <—— which actually isn’t that great when you look at SBdotcom’s price with the additional 10% off this weekend.

I am shocked that they aren’t charging shipping. It’s over 10% in Seattle so that’s a chunk on an order over $100.

The 10% is nothing if you pay shipping and tax on it. I have to pay both on Scrapbook.com. Pre pandemic they let you stop by and pick up your orders and they would hold it for a week. So it was a great way to get special prices and freebies and go pick it up end of the week. My crafty bestie thought me to buy the reinkers because you never know when something you like get discontinued. So now I do that with CP and PF inks.

I just double checked, I WAS charged sales tax on my order this morning. I wonder if the no sales tax thing is a glitch with certain states and/or zip codes. Sales tax on online purchases must be paid to the government, so PF is going to have to pay it regardless of whether they charged their customers.

I think the sales tax is a weird thing where they don't charge the tax in a given state until they hit a certain threshold of sales in that state. I'm basing this on a different site that I order from that didn't charge tax here and then announced they would have to start because they had hit that magic amount. I have a couple of sites I order from that don't add tax. There's even one that shows an estimated tax based on the state where the shop is located, and once my actual address is entered, it goes away.

MfT didn't collected taxes for a long time than all the sudden it showed up. They didn't explain the why just that they have to collect it.

Interesting convo about sales tax. Currently, PFS, Honey Bee and The Greetery do not charge sales tax on my orders. Years ago when I used to order from PaperTrey Ink, they did not charge sales tax either.
I checked the other online stamp stores I buy from and they do charge sales tax.

I should clarify - I think it is the shopping platform the website is built on that has the threshold thing. It must be a real project for some of these smaller companies to keep track of sales tax owed to each state. I know that it's a big job for the accounting dept at work to file our sales tax report each month, and we only do business in our own state! I can't even imagine the paperwork to file in multiple states.
