Happy Friday Eve, Peas & grammadee ! I saw some requests for fun folds during CARDtober planning, so for this week I made two fun-fold autumn cards from three sheets of card stock:  This is a card sketch from SU demonstrator Connie Stewart of Simply Simple Stamping. Here is her video and a link to the sketch printable: linkTwist: masked stamping! I hadn't done this for years -- at least a decade. I don't believe I've ever used this technique in a finished project at all. But I didn't have a single image stamp that was the right size and seasonally appropriate, so I used masked stamping to arrange my two pumpkins. |

Your cards are cute, fun, and they look relatively easy to make (my preferred kind of card right now)! I am making all fall and Halloween cards because I am making my quarterly exchange cards. When I am making 24, fun and relatively easy is also what I prefer  |

Shakti Thanks for the folding fun!!! (I was one of the requesters of folding fun.) This card was so easy for how cute it is - cut, cut, score, score, stamp, stamp, a little glue and done! The longest part was finding a stamp image that fit in the square and could be masked. The video was very helpful with little tips.

Love the exuberant pink and turquoise/teal color scheme, jjpeapea! Connie posted these originally last fall, iirc, and then reposted this fall, so I've made them twice and always in autumn colors. I need to keep this sketch in mind the rest of the year, clearly. |

Used this for a couple of Christmas cards, Shakti . I used the layered stamping technique for the bears, and then decided to layer some foiling on the inside. Thanks for the examples and the instructions. I really like that the MFT dies cut right next to the stamped outline, so the diecuts make perfect masks for this technique. I really like this Fun Fold. Although it’s easy to do, just like the demonstrator, I made a mistake. It’s not a huge one, and I don’t have time to do them over, but I probably will make this card again sometime. One of the cards looks wonky in the photo, but it isn’t as bad as the photo looks. I also forgot to add my print & cut design to the top card, so I’ll have to add that later, too. We had a special family event this weekend, so now I am playing catch up, and when card making in a hurry, mistakes are made. Here are my cards:   |
