This thread just took me straight back to 2003 when I started scrapping, lol!! I totally remember the crop fights about CM "contraband". Oh man, those were the days. My favorites back then were Chatterbox and Basic Gray. I would stalk my LSS for new releases. I just found my old Effer Dares book, "We DARE you" on my shelves. That whole Kristina Contes controversy was wild. Thanks for the trip down memory lane on this thread!!

Just used my CM cutting system this week to cut big ovals to create a background pumpkin for a page. And some Basic Grey pp on another one.
Old scrapbooking supplies are like memories. They stay with us forever, and once in awhile you can access just the right one at just the right time!

I still use and covet my PSBs, but not for stickers. I use them for Project Life cards - I put one card of each design in divided sleeves, so I can see at a quick glance what I have. Then I keep the stock of all the cards in a closet. It has worked great for me! Those binders are so durable and hold a ton of stuff!

The oldest “scrapbook” I have is from 1985 (how can it be nearly forty years ago?!) I went away to college and met my first husband. I did lots more journaling back then and filled the pages with lots of ephemera — match books, greeting cards, dried flowers and a few stickers.
In many ways, I still scrapbook the same way— I love mini albums (6x8 mostly or shaped chipboard) and add lots of ephemera from daily life. I will endeavor to journal more, it’s nice to see what was on my mind a certain times.
I am so grateful for this hobby. It’s remained with me throughout my adult life.
