Create a card or project with a theme that takes place in the spring, for example the first day of spring, gardening, holidays, spring flowers, May Day, Mother's Day. Your twist is to use one or more printed, stamped or drawn backgrounds (a patterned paper or patterned paper effect) Please add this to the challenge list, grammadee.

Your card is lovely, jjpeapea, and I agree that your garden gate is very appealing.

jjpeapea, I love the layering on your card: makes it look like those flowers are growing around and over that gate.

My mom planted Clematis in her garden, so I made this card while remembering her. She died in 2001, so I’ll probably give this to my sister. The window and clematis are from Heartfelt Creations’ Climbing Clematis collection. It’s definitely one of my favorite collections. I used an embossing folder to try to mimic siding on a house. It was simple and fast, but I am trying to catch up on the challenges after being out of town.
