Milk was a big thing in our house. Canada - where in our area it is in bags of 3 1L bags - we'd go through 2 bags of 3 a week. We'd cap him at the 2, there was no way I was going out and buying a 3rd. I used to go through 5 to 7 gallons a milk in a week! Now we hardly use any!

Feeding an athletic teenage boy (or even one who is not involved in athletics) is definitely not for the faint of heart. Not to mention someone who is as deeply involved in their sport as your GS is! Can you even imagine being able to eat that many calories in a day? Sounds heavenly to me (from the girl who eats 1200-ish to maintain weight). Getting older and metabolism slowing down is not for the faint of heart.
That said, I’m glad that I no longer have to shop for or a cook for a teenager. When he would come home from college, boy that was such as eye-opener and reminder of just how much he could eat!

My son is 19 now and lives away at school but he was never a big eater at all. And he's 6'2" and wears a size 12.5 sneaker so, he's a big guy. lol Just didn't eat me out of house & home. And he was very active in all of his sports.
His younger sister however is 15, a huge track & lacrosse player and that girl can EAT!
