Hello, cardmaking Peas!! I've been away from the boards for a couple of years, but found my way back. I see the team challenges seem to have gone from monthly to quarterly now, so I'll plan to jump in on the Q1 2024 challenge when it starts up in a few weeks. In the meantime, I decided to take up a personal challenge for myself to create a card every single day this month and post it on my blog. I thought I would start a thread here, so I can share them all here as well. This was my card for day . Other than the two circle die cuts, all of the products are from Lawn Fawn. The stamped images are from the Ugly and Bright stamp set.

Here's my card for day three of my challenge to create a card every day this month. The layout for this card is one I saw presented a couple of years ago in an online class taught by Cathy Zielske. Since I woke up not feeling too well this morning, I loved being able to make a card that was pretty simple, but still have it be a very eye-catching design.

I love this. And welcome back! Would we recognize your old name?
We should have a challenge sometime. Each person makes their own thread for the month and posts to it as often as they like. What do you all think?

I honestly dreamed about a daily December (or maybe November?) challenge like SKETCHtember or CARDtober recently and was very excited to propose it...but I woke up and now I don't remember.

Here's the card I made today for day four of my make a card every day in November challenge. It's a combination of a CASE of a card I saw recently made by Justine Hovey with the current Lawn Fawnatics challenge which is monochromatic. Details about the products I used can be found in my blog post.

I don't have a card for day five of my challenge. I ended up spending a few hours in the ER last night because my heart rate was jumping all over the place. After a battery of tests, it was determined I was in sinus arrhythmia. Basically, every third or fourth beat, my heat was beating about half a beat too soon. You wouldn't think half a beat too soon would be such a big deal necessarily, but it really makes one feel "off."
I don't remember exactly what time I got home, but it was at some point between 1-2am. I have directions to follow up with my GP this week to get a cardiac referral, but was just told to take it easy today and limit my caffeine, so that's precisely what I did. Thankfully, my heart seems to be back on a normal rhythm today. If I'm feeling back to my normal self over the day couple of days, I'll double up and make two cards to make up for missing today.

Please look after yourself, CoffeeCrafter! Hoping that heart decided to behave and follow the proper beat.

Please look after yourself, CoffeeCrafter ! Hoping that heart decided to behave and follow the proper beat. Thanks! It seems to be doing fine now, thankfully, but I'm still hoping to get in with my GP this week for a cardiology referral. The ER doctor said all of my other tests came back fine and he doesn't think it's anything serious, but caveated he also wasn't a cardiologist. Given the history of cardiac issues in my family, I just don't want to take any chances.

I managed to get back on track with my November challenge by creating two cards today during my lunch hour. To help keep things quick and easy, I used the same trio of blue inks for both cards. The first card was foiled using a Poly-Glaze foiling sheet from Gina K. Designs which I then ink blended. The second card was stamped. Full details are on my blog. Card 1: Card2:

Gorgeous cards, CoffeeCrafter! On the first card yesterday I love the ink blending with the foiling, and was wondering did you ink before you foiled? Or foil before you inked?

Here's my card for day seven of my personal challenge. This card features some double partial die cutting to create the shaker winder. The background was created using Dylusions Shimmer Sprays and the Brushed Pewter Distress Mica Spray. Close-up of the shimmery background panel:

For my day eight card, I decided to take a break from the holiday/winter cards and made a Fall-themed card instead. With the Thanksgiving holiday coming up in a couple of weeks for those of us in the U.S., it seemed like a good time to make a few cards to get into the mail. Most of the products on this card are from Taylored Expressions. It's difficult to see in the photo, but all of the veins of the background leaves are foiled. I used my new Fuse Foiling System and 14 Karat Fancy Foil from Gina K. Designs for the foiling.

Here's my card for day nine of my make a card every day in November challenge. For today's card, I used the parameters from last Friday night's episode of Craft Roulette. Here are the parameters that came up on the wheel for this episode: Project: Gift Card Colors: Coffee House Element: Go Wild Random: Add a Number(s) The background stamp is from My Favorite Things which I think might be retired. All of the other products are from Lawn Fawn and are currently available. The toucan and branch were colored with Copic markers.

I have that MFT background stamp and I use it a lot, even if it's just the back of the envelope flap.
Thanks for posting your cards.

I didn't get a card made yesterday, but I actually made four today so I'm calling it good. I attended the Fall Virtual Stamp Joy event earlier today hosted by Taylored Expressions (TE). The focus was on stenciling techniques. Here are the four cards we made during the three-hour event. I had to improvise the sentiments on the two front cards because I didn't have the recommended TE stamp set and it wasn't included in the event kit. Even though they were the called for sentiments, I do like how mine turned out. The sentiment on the lower left card is from MFT and the one on the lower right card is from Waffle Flower. The card in the upper right is actually my favorite from the event. It's difficult to see in the photo above, but the little black stars are cut from glitter cardstock and the polka dot background is actually foiled using Mystic Rainbow Deco Foil. Here's a close-up of that card which shows it off better.

For today's card, I was invited to be a guest designer for the latest challenge at the AAA Cards blog. I was part of the design team for a couple of years in the past, so it was fun to create for another challenge with them.

When my RL issues slow down, I’ll start to do some of these challenges. They look so fun.

Sadly, I probably won't have a card for the next day or two because I'm sick. I woke up this morning with a fever of 101.6ºF and feel like absolute crap. At least I was already a couple of cards ahead due to making four cards on Saturday. At this point, I might have to rename my challenge from "make a card every day in November" to "make 30 cards in November." 😂
