Is there anything in particular you are hoping to get during the Black Friday sales? I got an email today giving me access to and early Black Friday sales at Spellbinders. I had a load of stuff I wanted so I hit the free shipping threshold with very little problem. I'm hoping Gina K has a sale because I really would like her Fancy Feather stamp and die set. I'm also hoping for a sale at The Greetery. There are quite a few things I would like from there. I might be tempted by a Pink Fresh Studio sale but knowing their inventory issues, it's doubtful a full set of coordinating products will be available. I'm going to put a link here to Jennifer McGuires sales page. It's a great link and she keeps it very up to date for the Black Friday/cyber Monday sales. www.jennifermcguireink.com/crafty-sales?fbclid=IwAR0XGb-D42PZVS9tcSFFQT_4fVjQV1P-xitrmxEETnd_zhQRCMVQNp8bcgI

Taylored Expressions has their week of specials starting today (Tuesday). Each day has a specific theme. Create in Quads stencils are the only thing that tempt me. It’s about the only time they’re marked down, but I’m just not sure that I will use any often enough to justify the cost. www.tayloredexpressions.com/season-of-crafting/

It’s not a Black Friday sale, but I just ordered a bunch of paper pads, stamps, and dies from the Heartfelt Creations Warehouse sale. If you aren’t aware, or have forgotten, they are in the process of going out of business. Some of their designs are a bit too ornate for me, but they do have a lot of really nice designs. Their warehouse sale is a bit different, in that you have to buy at least five items to get a discount,. If you buy 5 to 9 items, you get 50% off, if you buy 10 to 14 items, you get a 60% discount, and if you buy 15 or more, you get 70% off. They started clearing out older lines first, and have gradually been adding more recent lines as the older stuff goes out of stock. Their more recent releases are not yet on sale. I think their target date was to be done around the end of this year, or soon after the new year begins, anyway. Based on what they have been offering on their website, they are definitely progressing toward that goal. They have beautiful papers, stamps, and dies. I will be sad to see them close their doors. Anyway, the Warehouse clearance prices are as good or better than some Black Friday sales. The prices shown are the regular prices, since the discount you get is based on the number of items you order. The discount only shows up when you go to check out. Heartfelt Creations Warehouse Sale

I want the Stamp Wheel. I'm hoping for a Black Friday sale on that! I'm almost afraid to ask because then I'll probably want it, but what makes the stamp wheel so good? I went to their website and it appears to be a mat to stick your paper on while stamping? It must be more than that though for $100. I am missing something.

Heartfelt Creations Warehouse SaleIf you follow Heartfelt on Facebook they just had a great sale advertised on all of their molding trays for the different flowers. You got all of the trays for about $90 I believe, which they normally sell for $20 each. Plus they have been doing special sales for one-off items they have found in the warehouse.

It does include the sticky mat, but it gives you perfect placement for stamping. It’s not a hinged platform (which puts more pressure nearest the hinge), so it is different, but I am debating whether or not to buy it. A Black Friday sale might get me to purchase it. I don’t need it, and it does seem to need a fair amount of space. Add the price to those two factors, and I remain hesitant to buy it.

However, I have nearly all of the flower molds already. I do recommend them, though!

Suzanne Hue aka A Creative Muse, gave a comprehensive look at the Spellbinders sale going on in her YouTube video today. I’m kind of on a spending freeze due to RL issues.

Does anyone remember what SBdotcom does for Black Friday? I'd like to find a deal on the Glimmer system so I can get rid of the Gemini Jr system that was given to me. I hate the way that machine warps plates so quickly (and yes I've tried all the highly recommended sandwiches).
Right now they have the Glimmer for $127 + 8% off. But haven't I seen it for under $100 in the past, or am I making that up?

With the Gemini Jr. System is best to use their own foils, it foils on a lower setting and after foiling put the plate under your Gemini jr. machine while cools down . Apparently helps with warping. I haven't foiled a ton so no warping for me yet.

I use sizzix plates- they are a little bit thicker and selfhealing mat + a chipboard shim. I have been using the same plates for 4 years now and they are a little warped but not very noticeable. I do buy cheap selfhealing mats so I can toss them when they are bad.

I have one Christmas set from C& C last year (I think) that I have in my box of Christmas card items I want to use this year, but have not got to it yet. I used one during class and it was really fun and easy to do. Also Taylored Expressions stencils tend to have markings to help you line them up easily.

Looks like the stampwheel is only on sale today, 11/17, $69.99. Link to stampwheel: altenew.com/products/stampwheelI picked up the delightful day bundle and the spark joy lily bouquet since they were both half off and I've been eyeing them both. Nichol Spohr did a nice video of the delightful day bundle and I've been eyeing ever since. Here's the link to her video: youtu.be/cQ9-GPvW9Uw?si=Kov1adGpUwkxUHTs Now I will step away and not visit the Altenew site again, there are way too many pretty layering sets on sale.

I just snagged a StampWheel - thanks for the heads up about the sale! I then browsed the sale section and added a few "things" to my cart for free shipping.

For the Gemini Jr die cutting machine, I switched to the green double sided plates taped to clear plates (a la Jennifer McGuire) and I've had absolutely ZERO warping. I really mean ZERO! I have actually used the crap out my Gemini Jr for the last 2 crop & creates. Before that it sat in my closet because I didn't get very good cuts with it using the original sandwich.

I am on the fence about stamp wheel. I don't have enough space to store it.
Grabbed some products at discounted price from pinkfresh clearance sale they started today. They have some good deals.

It's kind of awkward, especially because you can just shelve it like a book the way you can with a hinged platform. That was one of the reasons I decided it wouldn't work for me. If you used it all the time or had a big desk I guess storage wouldn't matter but I don't have the workspace for it.

I already have a couple that I got this time last year and they are very cool, but they also take more physical effort than I expected (I have some issues with my hands) so I don't use them as much as I would like. I might need more ergonomic blending brushes. But I keep thinking I can buy a lot of patterned paper for $25... If anyone needs a shortcut, TE stencils marked down here. Quads are $25 instead of the usual $35. www.tayloredexpressions.com/shop/stencils/season-of-crafting-stencils/

I didn’t see anything I “needed” at PF. Trying to decide if I should take advantage of the stencil sale to finally try a triple slim, but I’m not seeing that there’s one of those that I like and that fills a gap in my stash.

I'm holding out for a The Greetery sale next week.
Simon Says Stamp usually has good sales for BF, don't they? I think they have different sales each day from Friday to Monday, like free shipping vs 20% off all Simon-branded items. Does anyone recall?
