Switched it up from soup tonight and had mini pierogies and some fruit I got in a fruit platter from the store. Figured DH would benefit from some vitamin C. Unfortunately, he did say he's not got much of a sense of taste. Poor guy. He did say he's starting to feel better from the muscle aches, at least.

Happy anniversary, Mr. & Mrs. cadoodlebug! (cuz I got so worked up about chess pie before, I forgot to say it) stormsts, eeeek, that is so scary about your brother’s accident. I’m glad they’re okay. Did the other car stop? Something similar happened to my housekeeper this week. Her car is totaled but she’s okay. The other car (that hit her!) took off.  Hoping DH is back on his feet soon, rymeswithpurple. Are you holding up okay? |

If you have Safeway grocery stores in your area, they have premade ones similar to chicken cordon bleu that you can get many places in the freezer department. Wonder if they would be similar to those that quiltz gets.

I do not teach Math or Science people!!!! Not at any grade level!!! I know nothing beyond Google and Two Peas when it comes to computers!  Ugh! This is getting so out of hand I am beyond words. This meeting will be an entire waste of time because I will not accept this position. We'll see what their move is. |

karenlou , I really appreciate you for being a surgical nurse. The IR team was so warm and kind, despite being called in for something so small. I thanked them profusely and apologized, but they were so reassuring. Then again, they see me every 3ish months. Thank you for being a nurse. scrapmaven, When I was full time I was in charge of the Vascular and Thoracic services...We have a hybrid room in the OR so I spent every monday in that room working with our IR friends....all our Vascular Interventions are done in that room. This has certainly decreased the number of open vascular cases done, and the recovery time for our patients is a day or two as opposed to a week or more. Those folks are amazing...They taught me so much!!!!! |

karenlou, the cath lab is a blessing and I love that it's a place that gets you on your feet so quickly. A simple stent was easy and an overnight stay. We've come so far in medical science. I've always had really friendly and smart nurses and techs.
