Sounds like everyone is making progress! I make Christmas cards year round for donations but I’ve learned not to choose the card I’ll use for myself until late in the year - I have a bad habit of changing my mind at the last minute.
I got my labels printed today and made sure I had envelopes ready. I still need to do a final count on how many cards I need. I always get frustrated when some of the labels get wasted because I didn’t have the right number to print a full sheet. This year I added some extras for friends and family that I mail to during the year, but I have to be careful to set those aside or some people might get duplicate holiday cards!

50 are done for the swap.
Dh actually needs 39 cards for work - 15 for teachers he works with and 24 for HR department. I got 29 of those done today while dd was having her weekly infusion.bfinished coloring them in this evening.
Will work on the last 10 tomorrow.
Then move on to family.

I find that if I start at the bottom of the sheet for a partial sheet of labels, it can work to print a second time for rest of the labels, joblackford. Using the top and then trying to print the bottom seems to cause jamming.

I got all my cards mailed out this weekend - yay! It turns out I needed 5 more than I had made (so 85 total) so I did those yesterday & mailed them out this morning.
I love dimensional cards but I made too many this year & had to add extra stamps to around 25 cards :/ Oh well - I love the way the cards turned out.

I mailed my US cards for the swap Friday! They should be arriving soon!
Working on friends and family now. Most of these will be hand delivered.

I got my cards all paired up with envelopes, tidily placed into a box to contain the mess… and just stopped. I had plenty of time over the weekend to write in some and get them ready, but my brain is too easily tricked into thinking we’re done when I tidy up. So I’ll be signing the international ones today, at the very least, and braving the rain to get them to the post office. I was very happy to find that I had guesstimated how many I needed correctly. I have a couple of spare ones that are extremely dimensional (Doodlepops!) that I can hand deliver to the neighbors, and a couple more just in case I forgot someone or get a card from someone unexpected. This is the week that starts with “December barely started, there’s plenty of time” and ends with “oh no, how is it almost mid-December?!”

I think I finished making cards on the weekend - 60 total. I have mailed 2, so that is this weeks challenge- to get the rest in the mail.

I got my Hanukkah and international Christmas cards in the mail yesterday and worked through the domestic Christmas cards to add a message and signature today. I decided to do 5 at a time and used my moistening paste and washi tape to close them up right away. It was satisfying to get them all the way done one by one even though batching the tasks might be more efficient. My friend gave me this and it’s been quite handy! Mailed my cards the other day. Now I can work on some embroidery hoop ornaments for gifts. Kelley at Honeybee Stamps did them on a video last week, and they are so simple to make and pretty.

I was so proud of myself for getting my cards done so early. Sat down this afternoon to sign and address them all and wouldn’t you know it, I’m 5 cards short. Made all the cards for friends, forgot about family! I’m glad I didn’t wait another week to get these ready to mail.

Hopefully you can mail out what you've done and get those last few ready to go quickly.

I haven't even started yet. Hubby is out of town this weekend for business so I will start the mad dash and watching holiday movies all day on Saturday and part of Sunday.

I am done, and have been for a week or more, I’ll send about 75 total, 50 of which are for the Pea card exchange. I don’t mass produce. Some cards are one offs, some I’ll make 4-6 of the design, but change colors or something. If I made them all one or two designs I’d get too bored and it would feel too much like work to me. I love the creative process. Does that make sense?
So far I’ve only mailed internationals. I’m going to go through and at least try and get east coast out by tomorrow evening. I don’t know why I stress about about at least writing a little note in each, but I do <eyeroll>. Then I always save the hardest ones (people I know best) for last. Sigh. #masterprocrastinator
I spent several hours in my office today. Did I work on getting them out? Nope. What did I work on you ask? Creating holiday cards that I don’t even need for this year. Another eyeroll.
Anyone else like this?

Michy, you are speaking my language. I love to make Christmas cards, but hate writing them out. I think I have about 50 more or so to go. My goal is to have them all in a mailbox by Sunday. I spent several hours in my studio yesterday and only managed to write in 6 cards. The struggle is real.

MichyM and lokismom You're not alone. I also struggle with the writing in cards, but for Christmas cards I print a good sized sentiment inside and then decide on the one thing I'm going to write underneath to everyone. I write it out and copy it so I can disengage my brain. Writing with a pen and not misspelling people's names is hard enough! Writing a short message is more than most people do even though it's less than what feels like I "should" do. I do the easiest ones first and I leave any that I really want to add more to until later. But by the time later comes I decide that I can send them a proper letter if I really want to add more than what I can write in the moment and just get the cards done. Momentum is everything for me. I hate starting but love finishing a task!

I made 13 yesterday. Took 6 hours and I still need to glue down the inside! Lots of die cutting and it made me think I need an Anna Griffin Empress!

The last of mine got mailed yesterday. I think it was 65 or so in total, and only five were over weight for basic postage this year, so I'm getting better.

Five left to write. All the rest went postal over the weekend and tonight. I have two surgeries later this week, it is a huge relief to have the cards on their way!

Reporting in that mine are mailed. Well, except for five.
I swear I counted my already made cards I don't know how many times and it seemed like I always needed more, more, more. I spent Sunday afternoon cutting all the parts to make seven more cards. I counted again and needed twelve (!). WTH! So I printed my address list and wrote the messages, signed the cards, addressed all envelopes, and crossed them off my list and wouldn't you know I need five more cards. haha I've been getting on with my life and either tomorrow or the next day (if the mood strikes) I will make them and send them out. But it wouldn't be the end of the world if these people didn't receive a card from us.

Some of mine have arrived overseas, much faster than recent years And I dropped off cards to the neighbors. I saved some highly dimensional ones for them since I could hand deliver and avoid Doodlepops getting mangled by the USPS machines. Happy that I’ve received some lovely cards too MichyM yours arrived today. Thank you!
