George has been striking me as an old soul recently. not sure if it's just the age or his expressions when he's been photographed. He's going to be taller than mom soon, which tends to happen. What a beautiful family.

Wow Charlotte has sure grown up. I agree that it's the hair that maybe makes her look older than 8. Although that's 3rd grade here in the States and I've just spent two weeks subbing in a 3rd grade glass with girls who are looking older now also. I think this age is right on the cusp of childhood and tween-hood. Also, it doesn't look like Louis is wearing shorts to me... But my eyes aren't what they used to be of course. I see the reflection of Charlotte's legs, and then what looks like long pants and a shoe from Louis. Lovely photo. Of course I've already seen it even before this thread because my dd immediately sends me any photos of this family. lol. She adores them.  Every once in awhile I am able to say to her "oh I already saw that photo on my message board". haha |

What about it looks altered to you? That's not to say it hasn't been edited in some way...most photos are, even professional ones but nothing jumps out to me about her face |

I don’t think it’s been tweaked but I agree it doesn’t look exactly like her. I think her hair has more of a curtain bang than she used to. I also feel like front on photos are always a smidge different. |

It’s difficult to say what’s not quite ‘right’. It’s the lower part of her face I think. I’ve now stared at the photo for so long that everything on there is looking a bit off, like a group of very good look-a-likes 😀

I don't love the Pss of Wales bangs, or the length. I think it makes her look older. I also am not a huge fan of the pants suits she's wearing lately, but I think she is trying to send a "serious business princess" message.
I love this card tho!
