a double murder last night. One of the victims was a friend of her and her boyfriend.
They and a few friends went out for a couple of drinks, when my granddaughter got off work, to a sports bar/restaurant that we all frequent.
There was an argument over a game of pool. A 22yr(that none of the regulars knew)was asked to leave. When the others were leaving he shot 2 men, one being amy granddaughter's friend.
The shooter, 22yo, was still there in his car when police arrived.
Her friend, 30yo, died on the scene and the other victim, 22yo, died on the way to the hospital.
She said her friend was not involved with the argument over pool.
They were held until 3:00am, as their car was in the taped off area and they were witnesses.
They are absolutely traumatized.

I witness a shooting, but not nearly as close quarters as your granddaughter nor did I personally know the victims, and it would flash up on me at times for years afterwards. I can only imagine how it will be for her. My thoughts are with you and I hope comfort for her.
