WOW Tough Crowd. I don't hate them. I do hate all the hate they get. It makes me want to defend them because it gets so ugly. If you don't have anything nice to say.... I don't hate them. But they counted on their "star power" as royals, and as that fades, I think they arent as effective as they wanted to be. On the other hand, I am disapointed in Pr&Pss of Wales's workload. Yes, she is raising a young family, but they have nannies. I understand she wants to be hands on, and she is, but the British people pay a LOT and IMO (again, I'm not British) they should be out doing what they can to make awareness for projects and charities and organizations to improve the lives of or honor their citizens. For example, Catherine didn't go to EarthShot, and there was a lot less press about it this year than the previous year when she wore that bright green recycled dress. I know they don't always want there to be a discussion about Catherine's clothes, but if I come for the clothes (which I do!) then I will stay for the purpose. William just doesnt have that same draw/star power when he's alone. She supposedly was staying home to help George study for entrance exams to his next school, but seriously? They dont have tutors or people to go over that with him, just for a couple of days? Is she REALLY sitting down and helping him go over math problems or vocab? LOL. That is kind of the theme in this season of the Crown, so I think it is fascinating. In one of the episodes I just watched, The Queen had them take a poll of the British public on the thoughts towards the Monarchy (no idea if this is true or not), and seemed shocked at the responses. Charles seemed to know he wasn't nearly as popular as Diana and that things needed to change too. Anyways, that's a lot about the BRF that doesnt really have to do with this Xmas card! LOL. Honestly, I'm a little shocked that you would criticize Kate Middleton for helping George study for his exams or do anything with her children. The Royal Family just can't win - the Queen was criticized for traveling without her children when they were young, and Kate is criticized for staying home with them. With her work on children's development, she is practicing what she preaches. Harry has gone on and on about his feelings of abandonment and Will and Kate are trying to change that cycle with their kids. |

At the end of the day they are just people, dealing with their own hurt and trauma, doing the best they can. |

It's OK for its purpose. If they wanted to use that particular shot, they needed to Photoshop a little more to blur out background people, etc., though.

Are you saying that if we don’t have anything nice to say about Trump, then we should stay silent? If we object to the women’s rights situation in Texas, we should suck it up because our thoughts are not nice? Well, I'm still getting over my cold and cranky this morning so I'll jump in.
The only thing that makes a Christmas card remotely interesting to me is to see the kids, how cute they are, and how they've grown and changed since last year's card. Which is why I love William and Catherine's card.
Otherwise, I see pics of these two adults all the time so..meh. I also agree it's a really weird card and if that was just an electronic card meant for business associates only then okay. But all their titles and such at the top is just, over reaching to me since it seems like really, any business ventures they've started have all flopped so far. They are just cringey.
I can't stand them. He's turned out to be a weaselly liar who talks smack about his own family and then back pedals when called on it.
She's full of herself and I won't forgive her for those interviews. Get notoriety on your own merit, not by lying and throwing others under the bus and claiming to being a victim. It's just gross. And her whole obsession w/Diana is creepy.
There are plenty of other stars I can't stand either, but since this thread is about them, I'm going to talk about them.
