And I’m so freaking excited!!!
My oldest is 38 but it’s my 28 year old daughter that is expecting. So I have been a mom for a long time without becoming a grandma.
For the longest time I thought I was ok not having grandchildren because I have a bit of anxiety and worry about everyone and everything so much.
A few years ago I started thinking it would be a wonderful thing and I had to quit being scared and living in fear. I have done so well not worrying so much and I’m just soooooo dang excited!!! I really can’t believe it .
I really can’t even remember the last time I held a tiny baby and I’m just so overjoyed and in love with the thought!
It’s a boy due in the spring!
Just wanted to share.

My Son, has disabilities, and will not become a father, hence no grandchildren. I've come to terms with it as it is best for my son. So we have furbabies.
I am so excited for you! You must keep us up to date on your Grandma activities!

Congratulations! I am Oma to two delightful little girls and they are the absolute lights of my life (please don’t tell their dad or uncle I said that; they get jealous!) You will love this new little one from the first minute and have so much fun!

Congratulations  Google baby monthly milestones. Places like Toys R Us and baby stores carry products such as discs or blocks to put beside the baby (such as one month etc) for monthly pictures. I crocheted a blanket for our Granddaughter’s baby shower and dh made a set of blocks. We had them laser engraved. There were many teary eyes in the room. |
