My husband got me the Epson PM400 printer finally! It's been on my wishlist for 5 years. I also got some Perfect Pearls in my stocking to try out. What did you all get?

I treated myself to the studio calico sale on Friday. We don’t do gifts here but I consider that a gift to myself.

A 2-inch circle punch (I asked for a different size) from DH. He tried... A pile of Hobby Lobby brand paper pads from MIL that are not my style (but I will try to use them.) I went to the craft store on the 23rd to help DD spend a gift card she got for her birthday and bought myself some yarn and some stickers so at least those are things I can use

My husband got me the Epson PM400 printer finally! It's been on my wishlist for 5 years. I also got some Perfect Pearls in my stocking to try out. What did you all get? Nice! 5 years is better than never, right? I got all of the new PinkFresh inks that were released in 2023, plus the re-inkers. I also got the Doodlebug Gingerbread Kisses collection, some thin foam tape, some Canon photo paper, as well as Canon printer ink, in my stocking. My Mother-in-Law got me gift cards to Simon Says Stamp and to a Canadian scrapbook store that I like. It was a good crafty Christmas! This week I'm on vacation, so I'll be spending it doing Christmas puzzles and working on some Tim Holtz Christmas mixed media projects that I didn't manage to get finished before Christmas. I'm a happy woman!

I got a couple Harry Potter Wooble kits which I am excited for. And some Disney Happy Planner stuff...trying that out this year for my "blur style" book.

Nice! Enjoy spending it. I treated myself to the studio calico sale on Friday. I keep seeing the emails and want to buy all the things but I've been strong. Glad you treated yourself! A 2-inch circle punch (I asked for a different size) from DH. He tried... A pile of Hobby Lobby brand paper pads from MIL that are not my style (but I will try to use them.) I went to the craft store on the 23rd to help DD spend a gift card she got for her birthday and bought myself some yarn and some stickers so at least those are things I can use Oof, that's tough when people give you crafty gifts but they don't know your style. Glad you were able to get yourself some things you'll for sure use. With less than desirable papers, I either put a thin layer of paint over them or tear them up and make collages. Nice! 5 years is better than never, right? It's been worth the wait. 😂 I have a Epson XP-8500 that I print to all the time so I had a hard time justifying the PM400. I pushed it towards the bottom of my wish list in the past but moved it up to the top so I think that's why he got it. 🤣 Have fun playing with all your new goodies! I got a couple Harry Potter Wooble kits which I am excited for. Those Woobles are so cute! I can't add another hobby otherwise I would totally jump on that bandwagon.

I got a Michael's gift card from my in-laws, and my husband gifted me my wishlist from The Stamp Market. Somehow though, he managed to submit a duplicate order and two boxes of the exact same items arrived. Their website said they don't take returns 😕 Let me know please where might be a good place to try and sell the extra order 😁

I got a Michael's gift card from my in-laws, and my husband gifted me my wishlist from The Stamp Market. Ugh, why won't they do returns? Have you tried sending an email explaining the situation? The worst they could say it no and you'd be in the same position as you are now. Maybe if you offer to pay for return shipping that might sweeten the deal?

No scrappy gifts for me this year, which is ok as I didn't tell DH to get any. Nothing has caught my eye lately.

Sounds like everyone got some fun crafty gifts!
I got the Anna Griffin Empress Mini, the new Tim Holtz trimmer that cuts & scores and my husband got me my scrapbook.com wishlist which included the new Pinkfresh ink cubes (minus the green and red as those were sold out - I'll get those when they come back in stock). I can't wait to use my new goodies!!

Thanks jediannieI was thinking of that, too. I think I'll try that route hoping maybe there's some consideration for the situation.

I've been out "bird hunting" with my son. We have a lake in north Denver that has 80+ bald eagles. It is about 1.5 miles to the pavilion with the look out. I asked for a camera holster for a long lens. So while it isn't a craft gift, it is craft adjacent. Love it. At the lake... Yay for your PM400, jediannie! And, awesome bird photos, 950nancy! I scored lots of goodies: Main Character Energy paper pad, a tiny sewing machine, two embossing folders, a few Distress Oxide pads, tape runner refills, photo splits, and GCs to scrapbook.com. Both sides of my family have shared wish lists, so it's easy to be specific with what I want. Duplicates happen, sometimes, but this year only on adhesive! And I'll use that.

My mother-in-law bought me some Tim Holtz stamps and mini archival inks. That was it…I was a little surprised my husband didn’t get me anything crafty. I did get three new Disney Loungefly purses so I’m not complaining too much! I think I’ll be doing some happy new year shopping for myself.

One of my older adult students gave me a Michael's gift card. Other than that, not one crafty gift.

Complete set of Solar Paste, a few Altenew stamp sets (I picked them out), and some small tools such as picks and tweezers.
Considered the Stamp Wheel but was on the fence so decided to wait. Already have the TH platform that works well, so will see maybe later in the year.

Some new Tombo Mono glue, refills for my tape dispenser, and 72 CT Prisma colored pencils. I gave those to dd. Was not impressed with them and their blending/coloring.

I treated myself to a 72 stamp pad holder from Organizemore on BF weekend, so that is the only want I am letting into my house. I really don't need anything and am working on purging anyway. I actually forgot about it and it would have been a pleasant surprise when it arrived, so now I am working on forgetting about it again. lol

I got a wooden one off of Etsy last year and the shelves were a bit wonky and the guy said he'd send me a new one and to toss the wonky one. I played with it and got the shelves to stay in their slots. I did a little bit of "woodworking" on my part. So now I have one for all of my Distress inks and another one for Oxides. Love them.

No crafty presents, but I’ve been doing a lot of after Christmas online shopping of the sales. Without an LSS, it’s too hard to try to give a list to my perpetually last-minute shopper DH, so I ask for other things, then by scrappy presents to me from me. It’s win-win!

I just saw the Fancy Pants winter line on Peachy Cheap. Clicked away. I really wanted this line, but I guess I just love the jumping fox. Probably not worth $19.99 plus shipping for the fox.

My mum came over for Christmas lunch, and was asking about the sheer curtains I made to hang in our new pergola outside. I was telling her that I had to cut the fabric with my household scissors, because my sewing scissors have disappeared. I mentioned that I wanted to try making a dress (I haven't sewn for years). The next day she came back to my house after holding a Boxing Day sale at her quilting shop, and brought me a pair of fabric scissors, and a little pair of very sharp scissors! That was a nice surprise.
Now I have no excuse not to try making the dress - except for the fact that I probably won't remember how to thread my overlocker!

Ooh, I got the PM-400 too! I didn't need another printer, but I really wanted it for crops. I always need to print/reprint pictures or print journaling. I would not buy it for myself, but DH always comes through on a holiday if I say I like something.
