We buy the Costco Executive membership card which comes with benefits. Last year our rebate was over two hundred dollars and they also have sales just for Executive members. We have been executive members for years snd I am curious about additional sales? I have never heard this.

We are in Calgary, Alberta Canada. We occasionally get a flyer with coupons for executive members. Often, there is signage around the item. Call and ask if your store does this. Watch online for savings. A friend is also on an online local Costco savings group and they share bonus in store weekly savings.

We have one of our cell phones and our home phone with Telus here in Alberta. We talked to the Loyalty department and they added texting to the U.S. at no added cost. By talking to the Loyalty Department we now pay less than fifteen dollars per month for our home phone.

Here in Alberta Canada we just received a Costco Sofa-isticated e-mail. Buried in the e-mail are Executive Member savings. They show the savings and says if you don’t receive the coupons in the mail you can show them on your phone or pick them up in the store. Two of the coupons are four dollars off shampoo and crème rinse.

If it’s Pantene everyone gets that price in the US I just checked the app and it’s $4 off so thinking it might be the same as the one you see up there but it’s not just executive here.

If you like a particular brand such as Wacoal, I have found that you can get some pretty good deals on Ebay for bras. You can get panties also but I only buy the "new with tags"

We receive our home phone and internet bill by e-mail once a month and then they charge our credit card. I noticed there had been a change. dh called Telus loyalty department. Our two year plan was over and it was back to a higher price. Dh renegotiated a lower price. We pay seventeen dollars a month for our home phone.

I did an online chat with Sirius XM radio to keep my low rate last week. I hate having to do the annual song and dance, but I am not paying full price for it!
I have a note on my calendar to call about my NY Times sub this week.

Check to see if your autopay bills are charging you a fee for autopay.
In the last few months DH and I have had almost all of our autopay bills add “fees” for it so we’ve had to transition them over from credit card to checking account autopay where the bank cuts a check and mails it rather than the card being charged. We don’t get the perks anymore but we also aren’t paying the “fee” ranging from $5-$20 per bill. It’s stupid.

I share my YouTube TV account with my sister and it's saved me a lot of money. You can have 6 logins with a YouTube TV account so we both pay $35 a month.

If you eat out, do takeout instead of dining in. Especially if you drink alcohol. It's easy to rack up expensive drinks at a restaurant.

if someone in your household has any variation of medicaid, if a student got a pell grant or gets free lunch at school, SNAP benefits or WIC, you can apply to get $30/month off of your internet. Go to the Federal Affordable Connectivity Program.

Dh checked our bill and they are not charging a service fee for paying through our credit card, I have a tip for today. When you buy tomatoes, peppers etc and don’t use them up right away cut them up and put in the freezer. I have a craving for stewed tomatoes so pulled out cut up tomatoes, garlic scapes and peppers. We also have frozen herbs from the garden and fresh garlic and onions stored from the garden.

We had to get eggs.... in CA (home of "ethical" animal raising) we paid almost $7 for 18 eggs at Costco and they ONLY had those- none of the 5 dozen packs or the normal 24 packs that we pick up! I about died! We eat lots of eggs here so we needed them. Friends in other states are saying they can get eggs for $1.50/dozen. I haven't seen those prices in YEARS here! Sorry this is so late, re reading this thread again. If you have a Stater Bros or Albertson's/Vons near you, you can get 12 ct large AA eggs that are cage free per state rules for $1.47-2.99. $2.99 is the highest I have paid recently but Albertson's/Vons has been having them with digital coupon for as low as $1.47. It was as low as $2.69 but the killing of all the hens/chickens has risen the cost of eggs and chicken meat again.

No Aldi, no Stater Bros, no Albertsons, none of the good places.

Thought I would share some Springtime ideas. Split some of your Perennial plants. Sell or trade some in Facebook Marketplace. Put the money you receive in an envelope or separate bank account. Join a gardening group. Some people give away their plants and seeds for free. Declutter and sell items to bring in some cash. Join a Buy nothing group. People give away many useful items.

Try to combine trips, especially for places that are farther away. An example for me is that our dog groomer moved out of our immediate area, but is not far from our kid’s new music teacher. Instead of making that 30 minute drive to basically the same area there and back twice, I’m dropping off the dog, taking the kid to her lesson, then swinging back afterward to pick up the dog, saving a combined 30 miles of excess driving and gas and an hour of my time. We go to the groomer on average every 4-6 weeks, and will be going to lessons every other week until school lets out, so the times for both can easily align if I plan things right.
I do this already when I go to my chiropractor appointments, when I’m already in that area I also hit Costco and Target before heading home.
