I forgot about the tabs on paper dolls scrapnnana . A removable tape runner would have been super handy for temporarily adhering the clothes to my paper dolls. I'd like to make a gnome reminiscent of the ones in the Gnomes book by Wil Huygen that I was obsessed with as a kid. My brother loved it, too - it would be fun to send him a gnome card for his birthday. My gnome would need a straight hat like those Dutch gnomes, though. Too bad they didn’t have the removable tape runner when we were kids. You’re right. It would have been perfect. A straight hat should be easy to make, though, for the Dutch gnome. If you do make a Dutch gnome, please show us how it turned out. I was browsing Pinterest for generic card inspiration and a gnome card popped up. I do have the basic Jaded Blossom gnome set, and the cowboy set, but so far have resisted the temptation to buy a bunch more. After seeing the one gnome card, of course, I went and looked at the wide variety of cards made with the Jaded Blossom gnomes and their accessories. The temptation to spend a fortune on those accessories is now really, really overwhelming after seeing all the cute cards there. I need to dig through dies that I’ve already got on hand from other companies to see if I can use some of them with the Jaded Blossom gnomes, before I go on a gnome accessory spending spree.

These guys are so needy! They have been begging me to pull out the sports stuff. Took me over an hour to cut the pieces for a hockey player and a golfer and assemble the hockey player. I used a circle die for his head. Posting a pic in a sec. Hoping to get this guy on a page tomorrow.
The golfer is still in pieces in the dish on my counter. He needs to go on a birthday card for my ds.

Here's my hockey player. Cut his body twice, in blue & green. I needed to engineer his green legs & feet into sleeves so he could have arms (not needed if I was using the bearded gnome, but this is for a 10 year old.
And OMG! Now they want a motorcycle! And how can I argue with them? (My ds rebuilt a street bike to ride to work spring/summer/fall and his kids each have a small dirt bike, so they spend some weekends on biking adventures)

grammadee your little hockey dude is so cute!! Looks like it was a lot of engineering but you made it work so well. And yes, I wondered if your gnomies might need a motorbike too They're very needy.

Here's my golfer. More engineering, using the shorts for sleeves. The good news about the Motorcycle set: it looks like that one includes SLEEVES! Happy 44 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Gotta change the hands but will do that later.

grammadee, those little sport gnomes are super cute and creative! I can understand why you can’t resist giving them what they want.
