So TFG is hitting up Musk for dollars!! Elon Musk flew to Florida Sunday to huddle with a cash-strapped former President Donald Trump facing a presidential campaign and civil court rulings adding up to more than $500 million, according to a new report. Sources told the New York Times Tuesday that Trump met with Musk, estimated to be worth about $200 billion, and several other wealthy Republican donors. *** Musk — who owns X, SpaceX and Tesla — felt shafted by Biden in August 2021 when he invited electric car companies to the White House but left out Tesla, the report notes. “Let’s not forget the White House giving Tesla the cold shoulder, excluding us from the EV summit,” the Tesla chief executive posted on X in December. www.rawstory.com/trump-elon-musk/

TFG is talking about how the US is buying oil/tar from Venezuela refining it in Texas and shooting all that tar into the sky.. And the US is producing more oil then ever!! BTW: no open bar at MAL victory party tonight!! Former President Donald Trump skimped on refreshments for his guests at a watch party on Super Tuesday. "Here in Mar-a-Lago again the party getting underway just about 200 people I would say here already," she concluded. "There is no open bar and there is a soda bar, a pop bar if you want to call it if you're from the midwest but we [have] no free alcohol at least tonight here in Mar-a-Lago."Fox News correspondent Aishah Hasnie broke the news as election results were reported Tuesday night. www.rawstory.com/trump-open-bar/

Yes we buy and refine oil from other countries like we always have but what the heck. Yes the fumes from cars burning gas causes pollution but what else is he trying to say?

When the new Congress convenes in January Katie Porter and Barbra Lee will not be members.
Both ran for Diane Feinstein’s seat and came in 3rd & 4th behind Adam Shiff and Steve Garvey.
So CA, for the first time in years, will not have a woman Senator.

Welcome to North Carolina... NEWS‘No Balls to Scratch’: Trump Voter’s Candid Confession on Ruling Out Nikki HaleyPublished on March 5, 2024 at 02:57 PM ETBy David Badash Pro-Trump Super Tuesday voters are being upfront about why they are refusing to cast their ballots for former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley for president, and it has nothing to do with foreign policy, domestic policy, or prices at the gas pump or supermarket checkout. “She’s female.” That’s what North Carolina voter Emmett Martin told NBC News’ Shaquille Brewster on Tuesday. www.thenewcivilrightsmovement.com/2024/03/no-balls-to-scratch-trump-voters-candid-confession-on-ruling-out-nikki-haley/

Politicians have always asked “are yiu better off x number of years ago”. But these idiots want to know if you are better off today or during the pandemic. In the link there is a story of trump saying he is getting his information about COVID from Fox News. The article is dated 3/6/2020… Acyn… ”Stefanik: Are you better off today than you were four years ago? The answer is a resounding no” From the article… “ President Donald Trump says he's getting his information on coronavirus from Fox News”WRITTEN BY MEDIA MATTERS STAFF PUBLISHED 03/06/20 5:29 PM E x.com/mattgertz/status/1765417248808685971?s=61&t=j45uMgNk1i8O0YllKF58nwThe Lincoln Project… ”Exactly 4 years ago today Donald Trump was telling everyone that Covid would just "go away." Shortly after 3/06/2020 it all fell apart!
I had a routine Dr appt scheduled for March 18, 2020, the Dr office called and cancelled. The last time I grocery shopped was Mar 13 and ended up in the hospital Apr 19 with pneumonia and they put me on the Covid unit, single room.
So technically all was reasonably good 03/06/2020.. Except it was not!!

www.washingtonpost.com/business/2024/03/06/minority-business-programs-racial-disadvantage-unconstitutional/Federal judge orders minority-business agency opened to all races The ruling sides with White plaintiffs in finding the Minority Business Development Agency’s presumption of disadvantage is unconstitutional A federal judge in Texas has ordered a 55-year-old federal agency created to help minority-owned businesses to open its doors to every race, siding with a group of White plaintiffs who argued that the agency discriminated against them. Get a curated selection of 10 of our best stories in your inbox every weekend.
In a 93-page opinion rendered Tuesday, U.S. District Court Judge Mark T. Pittman ruled that the Minority Business Development Agency’s presumption that businesses owned by Blacks, Latinos and other minorities are inherently disadvantaged violated the Constitution’s guarantee of equal protection. He permanently enjoined the agency’s business centers, which have assisted minority-owned businesses in accessing capital and government contracts, from extending services based on an applicant’s race.
“If courts mean what they say when they ascribe supreme importance to constitutional rights, the federal government may not flagrantly violate such rights with impunity,” Pittman wrote. “The MBDA has done so for years. Time’s up.”

oversightdemocrats.house.gov/news/press-releases/ranking-member-raskin-s-statement-on-public-hearing-invitation-to-hunter-bidenRanking Member Raskin’s Statement on Public Hearing Invitation to Hunter Biden, Former Business Associates Mar 6, 2024 Press Release Washington, D.C. (March 6, 2024)—Rep. Jamie Raskin, Ranking Member of the Committee on Oversight and Accountability, issued the following statement after Chairman Comer invited Hunter Biden and his former business associates to testify at a public hearing before the Committee: “Chairmen Comer and Jordan's allegations have been debunked by more than 100,000 pages of documents and many hours of testimony from fifteen witnesses. “It seems Chairman Comer has decided his best witnesses now include a federally incarcerated ‘serial fraudster’ and a bitterly frustrated would-be business partner who collaborated with the Trump campaign. Unfortunately for Chairman Comer, even these dubious witnesses have already testified that they have no evidence that Joe Biden took any official actions to benefit Hunter Biden's business ventures. “In their last hearing, I urged them to fold up the circus tent, but they just came back with a three-ring circus instead.”

People tend to underestimate President Biden and I'm hoping he will knock it out of the park tomorrow in his State of the Union like he did in January in Valley Forge.
Have been reading through old State of the Union addresses (I know nerd alert, but it is interesting). All just a reminder as we look to tomorrow—-it is not typically a political speech even in election years for Presidents running…the contrast is inherent. This is from @barackobama SOTU in 2012 when he was running..”We can either settle for a country where a shrinking number of people do really well while a growing number of Americans barely get by, or we can restore an economy where everyone gets a fair shot, and everyone does their fair share, and everyone plays by the same set of rules. (Applause.) What’s at stake aren’t Democratic values or Republican values, but American values. And we have to reclaim them.” Contrast, but not in your face. This year is no doubt different (91 reasons why)…but truthfully that language would work in this year too!
This is from @potus State of the Union Speech last year….I suspect a similar tone/theme on this moment we are living in tomorrow. (And even more urgent) “My fellow Americans, we meet tonight at an inflection point. One of those moments that only a few generations ever face, where the decisions we make now will decide the course of this nation and of the world for decades to come.
We are not bystanders to history. We are not powerless before the forces that confront us. It is within our power, of We the People. We are facing the test of our time and the time for choosing is at hand.
We must be the nation we have always been at our best. Optimistic. Hopeful. Forward-looking.
A nation that embraces, light over darkness, hope over fear, unity over division. Stability over chaos.
We must see each other not as enemies, but as fellow Americans. We are a good people, the only nation in the world built on an idea.
That all of us, every one of us, is created equal in the image of God. A nation that stands as a beacon to the world. A nation in a new age of possibilities.”

No, we do not want to revisit those 4 years for so many reasons. Trump did not make America great during his presidency. Quite the opposite. Even if it weren’t for the pandemic we didn’t see good times. Taxes didn’t go down but up thanks to changes in standard deductions. We were a joke in the national scene. TFG was laughed at constantly. It was embarrassing. We didn’t gain the manufacturing jobs he promised. Didn’t see any increased infrastructure or lower drug prices. All things he promised.

I hate Mitch McConnell for a lot of reasons, but this really is the ultimate cowardice. He's stepping down, either because of his health and/or pressure from Trump. He doesn't have a lot to lose by not endorsing Trump. But of course, he caved to him.

Acyn…. “Comer: The Biden’s have investigated by multiple agencies and multiple US attorneys.. but yet nothing ever happened Exactly they have been investigating for how many years now. Trump started it. If there was something there it would be obvious by now. Like most if Hunter had done something wrong then so be it but when all the witnesses say the same thing. You have to think they can’t all be lying there were what 15 main witnesses. There is no evidence of a crime family unlike the previous administration where they all worked for the WH and came out with hundreds of millions of dollars richer from foreign countries. That’s the real crime family and it goes back for decades.

So apparently this accusation is circling back again www.businessinsider.com/trump-kept-19-million-korean-loan-hidden-as-president-report-2022-12?ampThis time NK leader himself claims to have paid off Trumps undisclosed debt to Daewoo - that payment also undisclosed & apparently Kim Jong Un wants to be paid back as he didn’t seem to get what he thought he paid for. Since the us is not allowed to do business in NK and the debt to Daewoo was mysteriously paid back during his presidency how could Trump even pay him back? This isn’t a small thing at all Believable? Unbelievable? Matters? Doesn’t matter? Oprah? F*ck the emoluments clause the constitution is stupid anyway? It only applies to Hunter Biden? IOKIYAR? Like where do we go with something so against the constitution and yet ignored for years? Like how is this held accountable at all?

This from MTG….
”What have Democrats talked about since January 6? January 6. It’s all they have.
What I’m concerned about is the weaponization of Joe Biden’s DOJ against patriotic, non-violent political protesters who walked the Capitol grounds.
We must end the weaponized government!”
Prompted this respinse from Ron Filipkowski…..
“They’ve talked about:
Infrastructure Act Insulin costs reduced PACTS Act for Vets CHIPS & Science Act for Semiconductor Production Support for Ukraine Student Loan Relief Reproductive rights Gun legislation Expansion of NATO American Rescue Plan Affordable Care Act Inflation Reduction Act”
If I’m not mistaken the items above that passed Congress did so without a single Republican vote in the House.
So the real question is just what do the Republicans in Congress stand for/support?
The fact that fools in Congress like MTG continue to try and pretend that what happened on January 6 was just a bunch of “tourists “ wandering through the Capital should be charged with treason.
