Overated..... (Is that past tense for overeating?) 😂 Hahaha that made me laugh! I could definitely use an "over ated" die cut on my PL pages!

I've been sorting and packing my scrapbook supplies and I just found some PL type cards with "anchors away" on them instead of "anchors aweigh". I wouldn't call it the most egregious error though. TBH I would probably make that mistake... Both seem to make sense so in time both will probably be accepted. but wallah in place of voila really bugs me. And adieu used in "without further ado" - thankfully I've never seen them in products I've bought but I see them all over the internet so it's only a matter of time. That said, it's extra difficult to spot even the most obvious mistakes in word art and fancy text. Signwriters are notorious for it.

And the winner is the savor kit from Ali edwards for this month - two spelling errors in one kit (hundreth and belives instead of hundredth and believes). Apart from the fact that savor is spelt incorrectly for me (kings English all the way with savour for me!) 😂 An absolute write off!

Didn’t want to steal your thunder and was so thankful you pointed it out so I didn’t rage throw the kit when I got it but the sheer amount of errors in one kit amazed me - it’s like the ae team knew there was a 2peas thread on the subject and wanted to win the crown or something!

I hate it when they send a digital replacement. I want a correct physical copy, please.

I am unable to subscribe as I don’t have a credit card but one of the other peas has stated she had started a conversation about the errors and I’m hoping she reports back with what the outcome is.

I just started a conversation with AE, explaining why I am skipping this month's kit. I get the month-to-month story class subscription, so I wouldn't mind getting a digital correction. If I still subbed to the physical Story Kit, I would be upset about having to throw out two of the cards. We'll see what happens!

It’s so weird they don’t have better (any?) proofreading. If it were me, After the first mistake I sent out in a kit I’d be having it checked multiple times with a fine tooth comb to avoid.a repeat. That said, the two spelling errors don’t bother me. I’m not a great speller and didn’t notice either. The believe quote is long and in Ali’s handwriting and my eyes just skipped right over it. For the hundredth - I already had ideas for the card that didn’t use that word but even if I wanted to use it I still would. Errors in stamps bother me much more (cough cough KP) but Ali’s had some stamp errors as well.

What's funny is that I couldn't even quote the misspellings when I started my conversation on the AE site. Their own site autocorrected the two words. It's one thing for Ali to not be troubled by misspellings in her own scrapbook pages. I just don't want them in mine. My adult daughter enjoys going through my scrapbooks, and she would definitely notice the mistakes!
