I use my Silhouette to make them most of the time. Also, I download images from the internet, then print and cut them.

I use my Silhouette to make them most of the time. Everyone on the thread has been talking about dies and I don't have a die machine so I was like, I'm out or I'll hand cut. My brain did not remember my silhouette so thank you!

Ohhh...I love the idea of making photo corners. This will be great for layouts where I am trying to combine square cornered cards and those with rounded corners--just cover up the round corners. This is genius. I don't like the rounded corners but these could make those cards work. I feel like I have a lot of them too. It’s funny. If I’m putting cards in PL to go in a pocket I do NOT like rounded corners. However if I’m putting tags or pieces on a page I do like those rounded sometimes. 🤣

Does anyone remember when Studio Calico cork embellishments were the trendy thing? Usually some nautical icon in white on a cork circle. I bought a roll of sticky backed thin cork at Michaels and went to town using dies and punches and stamps to create my own. When you look at inspiration, what would you buy if money was no object? Is it something you can recreate with the supplies you have? I love to make my own embellishments. My favorite is labels. I have a label punch and quite a few label stamps. I can stamp the size I need in the color I want. If I want to print journaling on the label, I print it then stamp around it and cut out. Best of both worlds! I have a bunch of label shapes made from cork. They were so fun to use.

My brain did not remember my silhouette so thank you! I was at my local second hand craft store today and they have so many die machines for about $15. It kills me to see them just sit there.

For my Project Life this year I am using Just Jaimee's Storyteller 2018 kits, pocket pages, and stacked pocket cards. If I can't find anything suitable, or I have already used all of the cards for that particular page, I will make my own simple pocket card - card, patterned paper, label, embellishments. I don't like the rounded corners I hate the rounded corners also Haha different strokes..... I debated long and hard whether to do rounded or square corners for my PL this year. I ended up using rounded corner cards because even though they're probably dated, I love them!

Haha different strokes..... I debated long and hard whether to do rounded or square corners for my PL this year. I ended up using rounded corner cards because even though they're probably dated, I love them! I don't dislike the look of them. I just don't like having the extra decision of having the rounded corners on a card, then on the other side of the page protector, having to go with the rounded corners if I don't want that look. Not sure that makes sense. For me it is just easier to do one way or the other. And if you have a 4X6 photo with a white border, you can't also have rounded corners. It just gives me decision fatigue.

My embellishments are all the old jolees stickers I collected - man did I have full set syndrome on those and a lot of them are small enough to make a 3x4 card shine 😁 I've done this with Dollar Tree dimensional stickers. A lot of my pages are very random with no real theme. I'll throw in a embellished journal card now and then with a stamped sentiment and the sticker. Or I might use alpha stickers instead of the stamps.

ETA… thanks to AussieMeg, I logged in on my tablet and I now see the Pinterest board. It didn’t show up when I was just using my phone.

It’s just on *MY* pages that little gap in the corners of the pockets bugs me. 🤷♀️

I totally agree! Rounded corners look good, I just don’t want to commit. My PL from 2011 has rounded corners and I remember towards the end feeling just done with documenting. The extra work of rounding corners probably added to that feeling.

I have a Project Life board if you need some ideas. I'm not good at coming up with them on my own. From what I can see, you and I have very similar tastes - it looks like a board I would put together! TFS I would love to see your board. Am I overlooking a link in your post? moretimeplease , I think if you click on the "Follow On Pinterest" bar at the bottom, it will take you to refugeepea's Pinterest board. Her Pinterest account name is pinterest87. (I think?)

The extra work of rounding corners probably added to that feeling. Ah yes, 365 days of rounding all those corners would do my head in! Luckily for me, I just got a digital card with already rounded corners, and use that as my template card. Then I just have to clip papers to it, it's really quick. I don't think I'd be doing rounded corners with paper scrapping, that's for sure!

Thanks so much! I guess I need to use the app or check in from my laptop. I don’t see signature or bars just using my phone.

thanks! That is a lot of inspo! Hopefully, it makes sense! Sometimes when I see a card that I think will translate into working for Project Life, it gets saved. It is quite random.

Plain die cuts can be dressed up in so many ways!
