Not the jogger murdered by the migrant... Disgusting how that's being latched onto by the right. I live in Georgia and have been hearing about this story every day since it happened and it's simply shameful to use her death as a political weapon. Same thing happened several years ago (2018) when this happened to a jogger in Iowa, killed by a migrant here illegally. Outcry from the right. Gee, it sure has been several years since this happened! But how many other women joggers were raped and murdered in between then and now? No matter how you try to spin it, THIS is a person who just. Should. Not. Have. Been. In this country. Which means that Laken Riley's murder could have been prevented. And should have been. 1 death is too many, but when one of them was preventable and steps were NOT taken... No. That's not acceptable and IT'S NOT WEAPONIZED to say that. 1. The murderer crossed the border illegally in El Paso in 2022. He was apprehended & then released. 2. The murderer was then arrested in Queens on 9/14/23 for injury to a child and having no license. 3. The murderer and his brother were cited in Athens-Clarke County on 10/27/23 for shoplifting. 4. The murderer had an outstanding bench warrant in Athens-Clarke County as of 12/20/23 for failing to appear in court on the shoplifting charges. THIS IS NOT A PERSON THAT CAME HERE TO JUST WORK TO MAKE A BETTER LIFE.4 chances to remove him from the country in order to PREVENT this HORRIBLE MURDER. Instead, he was detained and repeatedly released by federal authorities. The District Attorney in the Western Judicial Circuit that covers Athens-Clarke County, repeatedly failed to secure convictions in murder and rape cases and has only a handful of attorneys left in the office due to mass resignations. Ban rapists and murderers? Okay. I'm not going to do anything to defend rapist and murderers. Those rapists and murders are already here. There's no reason to import more. We need to be able to screen better. Point being, if biden would do his damn job and put the policies that he removed, back in place... the policies that WERE keeping the numbers down, then they'd be able to screen more effectively.

Do you want a president who says "I will not bow down to Putin" or one that will let Putin do whatever he wants?

You’re gaslighting. Trump is a malignant narcissist. What I can’t understand is how so many people not only fall for his tactics but take them on as their own personality characteristics in regards to politics. Fascinating.

This is NOT gaslighting: "Nobody gives a shit about biden's stutter, that's nothing but a strawman argument. So stop using it, because the bullshit of it is way too obvious and diminishes any credibility you "might" have. Biden spews his own conspiracy theories, his own racist nonsense, and the "dinner with nazis" is a more hoaxist bullshit. Fuentes was NOT invited and trump had no idea of his background. So to present it as an informed choice to "have dinner with nazis" is pushing a hoax. Again." NBC

Katie Britt saying Biden is out of touch just doesn't ring true. And it's projection. Republicans are not talking about economics or things that matter to Americans. And within 2 minutes she invoked God.
I respect her as a working mother of elementary school age kids and the first female Senator from Alabama. However, now she's talking falsehoods and nonsense about the border. She's certainly tugging on the heartstrings, though.
She's on a roll. I hope the networks fact check her.
Now she looks smug and condescending.

There’s nothing about Trump suggesting injections of disinfectant that’s a lie. He said it on videotape._@morecowbell _ Yes there is. FACT CHECK BY NEWSWEEK FalseTrump did speculatively raise the question of medical experts researching disinfectants as a possible COVID treatment, which Psaki was alluding to. And though he initially touted an "injection inside or a cleaning," HE CLARIFIED IN THE SAME PRESS CONFERENCE that any treatment he was speculating on WOULD NOT BE THROUGH INJECTIONS.Despite Trump's dubious, conjectural and inarticulate comments, HE DID NOT DIRECTLY SUGGEST THAT PEOPLE INJECT THEMSELVES WITH DISINFECTANT.Newsweek Did Trump Tell People To Inject Bleach?Trump did suggest that scientists should look into the usage of disinfectant in COVID-19 treatments. However, he did not suggest that viewers attempt the treatment themselves. This distinction was clearly confirmed by fact-checkers across the political spectrum, including Politifact (Lean Left bias) and Breitbart (Right Bias), shortly after the comments were made. During a campaign event in 2020, then-presidential candidate Joe Biden falsely claimed that Trump said “maybe if you drank bleach you may be okay.” This debate continues in 2022, as some voices on the left continue to say that Trump told people to inject bleach. All SidesComments WERE misinterpreted or exaggerated and other comments that debunked the whole claim were left out. This is all nonsense. No one was ever arguing about whether Trump told people to *inject themselves* with disinfectant to clean out the virus, as opposed to whether he suggested doctors use the method. The argument was about whether he recommended using disinfectant injections to clean out the virus. He did. There were no comments that debunked the claim he made that suggestion. You have just moved the goalposts in order to try to win this argument. And I have just lost interest in this ridiculous argument.

And I am not reposting your entire endless argument about immigrants committing crimes. Of course some do. Most are very law-abiding. By all means, let’s lock up violent criminals. Better than deporting them, because they may make their way back here. And while we’re at it, let’s lock up our homegrown violent criminals.
Your opinion seems to be if a few immigrants are violent criminals, we shouldn’t have any immigrants. You are living in la-la land if you think that’s how reality works. We need immigrants, and we don't currently have a way to allow the ones we need to cross over from South of the Border to live/work here, mostly because Republicans don't want to solve the border problem. Rational adult people who want to solve problems understand that we need immigrants, and we need to work with the people who want to come here.
I will address this one dumbass statement, though, because it’s so freakin’ easy to blow out of the water. Really? You really don't understand what the word “rate” means?
“In fact, undocumented immigrants tend to have a lower rate of criminality than citizens, “No shit. There are 330 million citizens and only something like 20 million undocumented immigrants, so that IS how it's going to work.”
Of course there will be a total number of more crimes committed by a population of 330mm people than by a population of 20mm people. That has nothing to do with the RATE of criminality within either population. I will leave it up to you to dredge up your high school math and figure out what this means.

Plus, he's from Venezuela, so he could very well have been here legally and then what would you have to say? What would you have to say if he was born here, we shouldn't have allowed his ancestors to come here? If only the native American tribes had banned all the rapist immigrants and enforced some borders! 20+pages of this. It just never ever ends here, year after year after year of the same old thing.

And I am not reposting your entire endless argument about immigrants committing crimes. Of course some do. Most are very law-abiding. Which I've already agreed with, so if you feel the argument is endless, why are contributing to that issue by continuing to argue something we've already agreed on? That is something you've entirely created in your head. It's not real. I have specifically said: Immigration is good. I also said: That's not to paint all illegal crossers as dangerous. I also said: Immigration has always been a good thing for our country. I also said: The ones committing crimes... They aren't committing crimes because they're migrants. They're committing crimes because THEY ARE CRIMINALS. Speaking of endless arguments again.🤔 Really? "National crime data, especially pertaining to undocumented immigrants, IS NOTORIOUSLY INCOMPLETE. The national data comes in piecemeal and can only be evaluated holistically when the annual data is released. THE DATA IS INCOMPLETE ON HOW MANY CRIMES EACH YEAR ARE COMMITTED BY MIGRANTS, PRIMARILY BECAUSE MOST LOCAL POLICE DON'T RECORD IMMIGRATION STATUS WHEN THEY MAKE ARRESTS."NBC

Clorox had to put out a disclaimer telling people to not inject or ingest bleach. Instead of looking out for people's safety and sending a clear message, Trump made excuses. There is no excuse or justification for his stupid, moronic, dangerous, reckless comments. What the media said or didn't say is a distraction/ deflection and does not take away from the important part - his stupid, irresponsible comments.

The President of the United States is a person of authority. That is why a president must filter what he says. trump should have never made those remarks because people took him seriously. And it doesn’t matter what he said later because the damage was done the minute he opened his mouth and started talking. I did a quick check one man died from ingesting some type of disinfectant and poison centers in several cities received a high number of calls about what dumpster don had said. trump has a tendency to blurt things out without thinking and sometimes he does it deliberately because he knows there are some that will do what he suggests without thinking it through first. So you can go on and on and on with the nonsense above but it doesn’t change the fact there are idiots who act on what he says without thinking and yes that makes him at least partly responsible for their actions.
