From what I understand towards the end of the year Stamping Up will carry the CTMH D-ring 12x12 albums, page protectors, and Flip Flaps.

Last night I watched a CTMH consultant show 500 of her CTMH layouts on You Tube, they made some beautiful products and it is so sad we are losing them.

I was a little tempted by CTMH a couple times, but didn't bite. I'll be interested to see how this works out with SU.

I started going to a yearly retreat several years ago and the person who organizes (and several others who go) is a CTMH consultant. That was my first introduction to their products. I LOVE their catalogs and idea books for page layouts and will miss that. They have a lot of good products and usually I thought the paper looked better in person than in the catalog. But I will really miss the flip flaps and hope that SU will carry them. Between CTMH and now my local craft store closing, I am really bummed.

The CTMH consultants who are switching to Stampin' Up will become active May 1. I looked at the Stampin' Up website and I am not excited about their scrapbooking products, but maybe they will get more in today.

The new stuff is up, I spoke too soon. There is a CTMH collection on there called 'Enjoy The Ride' which is cute, I think that's their last collection, I will miss their style.

I was just checking out the new SU/CtMH stuff -- it said I had to be logged into SU with a CtMH account to order at least the Enjoy the Ride scrapbook kit.
EtA: All the CtMH stuff.

I hope this is just the start of the products that SU will have from CTMH. A friend also noticed that the CTMH website has ordering inactivated until May 3 as they prepare for more markdowns.

I’m really hoping the SU/CTMH merger or absorption or whatever we want to call it, means more 12x12 papers. The color assortments that are tone on tone used to be offered in 12x12 and j bought and used them all. Now they are only offered in 6x6. Not helpful for scrapbooking. I email every year or so that I want the 12x12 back, maybe this’ll be my year!

sadly, another one bites the dust. i have never used or owned any of their products but i'm familiar with the company. it's just another sign of how the hobby is evolving. i think a lot of people have hit their max on stuff they want to buy. we have spaces full of stuff we can never use in a lifetime. that just results in some companies not being able to sustain their businesses anymore. survival of the fittest.

Anyone heard what kind of sale CTMH might have starting today? Think Thierry shipping will still be outrageous?

It's supposed to open back up but I just went there and it says "This site is currently undergoing scheduled maintenance to better serve you". I did see some good deals earlier. It is supposed to open up 3 PM MT which is now...

It's back up. The main thing I wanted already sold out so I don't think I am going to place an order, it's not a deal if you are buying stuff you don't love.
What did you buy?

Does anyone know where I can find the pdf files for workshops for Close to my heart? I have two card kits from them (gnomes for autumn and gnomes for spring) and never downloaded the instructions on the close to my heart sites. Now I can’t find the instructions anymore - all the Google links point to stampin up, which doesn’t have the instructions.

I downloaded most of them before they shut down, even if I wasn't sure I would need them.

I will miss CTMH for sure. I was a consultant for a few years mainly to support my habit. I still think they had the best ink pads. Lucky for me I have most of the reinkers so I should be set for years. I just got 50 something stampin up ink pads from an estate sale with reinkers. The quality is just not the same.

I’ve found a few process videos, so I might be able to see an instruction sheet in one of those. I’ll keep searching!

Rumor has it that SU bought the CTMH inkpad patten. Here is hoping they change over!

I’d love more of their ink pads. I suppose there is always eBay. I think they stamp so well and are not splotchy.
