I'd love some scents that veer outside of traditional laundry scents but gah, the dogs and the country dirt/mud and the fishing gear and the outdoor stains leave me needing some SERIOUS laundry detergent power. Currently using Tide Hygienic Clean Heavy Duty pods, but I do add scent beads and/or a dryer sheet for some umph. I wish I could find some tough detergent (or any laundry product) that smelled more like woodsy/outdoors.

I go with unscented tide.. I can't stand any scents at all!! (my allergies will act up) She said if you don't like scents this thread isn't for you. And yet several of us have commented the same thing 🤷🏼♀️

I'm a scent gal! We use Tide and Downy and Gain scent beads, but I think I need to try Persil. I'm really particular about my Bath & Body hand soaps. Turquoise Waters in my master bathroom, White Tea Sage in our main floor bathroom, Peach Bellini in my kitchen and I loved Island Margarita in my downstairs bathroom, but they don't offer that in foam anymore, I got a different beachy scent, can't remember which one now.

we did Gain for many years because of the pleasant scent. recently DH doesn't feel Gain cleans as well so we are back to Tide.

I am also in the loving of scented laundry group. My last combo was gain pods (regular scent) and gain dryer sheets. Currently, I’m using tide pods (with oxy) and bounce outdoor fresh dryer sheets. Both combos smell fresh to me. I also sometimes add Downy beads in fresh scent.

I use Persil but for bad stains, especially those that I didn't notice and threw the clothing in the dryer, I use a little Dawn dishwashing liquid with a toothbrush. I'm amazed at the stains I thought would never come out but they do! I use dawn for almost anything. I also have this stain spray called Miss Mouth Messy Eater Stain Treater. it works really well for fruit stains-except watermelon. Spray it on and it usually is gone before washing. Works on red wine. But not watermelon or chocolate. All our detergents and dryer sheets are free. I do like Mrs. Meyer’s soaps I love the radish, basil and clementine. I did see B&BW stopped putting parabens in theirs. I wish we could hang sheets outside but pollen would get all over them and we’re all allergic.

holy crap, that Laundry Sauce detergent is SPENDY! $70 for a box of pods? I bet its going to smell divine though, I love bergamot scents! It is horrendously expensive! I can't wait until I get the new one though! LOL I do feel like it cleans well. I use Rockin' Green that has an enzyme cleaner in it for getting out nasty mud/blood/manure stuff when it really needs a boost. You can use it alone, use it as a 'soak' or use a scoop in with your regular detergent (and it is unscented for those that need that). It is the only thing that ever worked on Teenage Boy Funk, for me. I would put bed sheets or t-shirts that had that forever funk attached to it in the washer, 3 scoops of Rockin' Green and the hottest water. I would agitate for a few minuets and then let soak for a couple hours. Then I would let it go through the wash cycle and usually wash again with whatever detergent I wanted. It is great for workout clothes, although for some of that $$ fitness apparel, I would probably not use the hottest water. I just have the Rockin' Green auto ship from Amazon every 4 months.

My favorite favorite was Tide Fresh Coral Blast liquid. It left a very nice clean but not overpowering fragrance. Of COURSE they discontinued it. WHY WHY WHY do they discontinue everything that we LOVE?? So I have been trying to find something else and landed on Gain Liquid Oxi Waterfall. It is quite similar but definitely does not last as long. I like the Downy scent beads and dryer sheets in Light Ocean Mist but they made me itch. Regular Tide used to be perfect but they changed it and now it smells like a dusty old house. How can they still call it 'regular Tide' if they changed the scent ?
