www.scrapbook.com/sbcfestI think this will be really fun! I am ready to go, and am pretty excited! I was able to order a die I really wanted, 10% off, plus it qualified me for a bunch of freebies. Anyone else participating in Scrapbook.com's SBC Fest this Friday and Saturday? I am excited that they really listened to crafters this time around and had the presenters give "homework" so we could actually craft along. I am spending evenings this week going through my stash to see what I could use for the projects, I did not order the actual product but I am sure I will place some orders over the weekend. There is 10% off code and some freebies. I won't be ordering paper, lol. I like SBC Fest and am going to try and get a lot done. I took Friday off work, so am excited about that!

Yes! I didn't realize they were giving homework - I like that! I wasn't planning on crafting along but I will check out the homework and see if anything sparks my interest. I had intended to have the videos playing while I make cards. So at the very least I'll just be watching and doing my own thing.

I ordered the kit for Laura's class and then saw I also owned most of the products for a few other classes. I didn't see that there is homework we can do in advance. I better get busy.

I won’t be able to play along. Off to a hockey tourney. But I had to order that disco die set. Gotta have the hats & boots.

I’m glad Jana’s doing a couple of layouts. I wonder if anyone else is doing layouts.

Thanks for sharing the links to the videos: I don't have that daisy die Jana is using, kmage, but I love the look of her flowers, and thinking this may inspire me to use my larger sunflower die set more creatively. I won't be home this weekend, but will undoubtedly come back to the SBfest videos and watch them over the next few weeks. Glad you started this thread and looking forward to hearing all about--and maybe seeing?--the fun things you create.

I’m glad Jana’s doing a couple of layouts. I wonder if anyone else is doing layouts. My guess is yes. When I was going through the supply lists for each teacher, some definitely looked like layout supplies rather than cards. I don't recall specifics, but very strong guess there will be more.

I believe Meghann Andrew is also doing layouts.

Some good freebies with a 20 dollar purchase, a flower die set, a leaf set from Simon Hurley and a tape runner. I love how they don't make you pick just one! I ordered a die that I had had my eye on for some time and it was now 10% off plus I got all the freebies. Yay!

I'll watch on and off today and tomorrow when I have time. I did order a die set (from Laura Graff's class) but it hasn't arrived yet - I ordered too late. I usually don't work along with the videos but enjoy watching the instructors put their projects together. They do highlight sb.com products but most items can be substituted with other products. I do appreciate that they put this together for us and the varied instructors that are generous with their time. Have fun everyone.

Yay!! I totally wanted the Cedar House, but I want the alphas and they are out of stock. I am hoping by some miracle they restock before the sale is over lol. I might need to look at those Gem stickers!

Obed Marshall is doing his mini-album instructions in both English and Spanish...he is so talented, his album is darling. I'd buy the dies for it if they were in stock.

Just tuned in to catch Obed Marshall's class since I am more interested in the scrapbook videos. I have those pocket dies, they are versatile. I made a cute gift card holder booklet with them.
I am on a freeze, but was going to get some Totally Tiffany paper handlers, of course they are all sold out now! I feel like that happens with these events.
I was happy to see that I have not placed an order with sb.com since last year at this time. I am adding to my wishlist instead and making plans to fix my current (breaking down) paper holders. The freeze continues...

I've been waiting for their dot roller adhesive refills to come back into stock. They finally did a couple days ago so I will be placing an order before the 10% discount is done. I also want to try their black mixed media paper as I have some solar pastes still to try out.

I am so on the fence about that Howdy die set. It's so cute, but I never say Howdy lol.

Loved watching Obed Marshall‘s bilingual class! Even got my mom crafting with me because she heard Obed speaking spanish and came in to see what’s up. That was really cool!
I usually watch first as it airs and follow along after. I’m thinking about crafting along with Jana though since she made a homework video.

I am so on the fence about that Howdy die set. It's so cute, but I never say Howdy lol. I have Carissa bundle in my cart and I keep going back to it but stop short of clicking pay now. If I buy only what I like it's way more expensive than the bundle. I have so many decisions to make.

I have Carissa bundle in my cart and I keep going back to it I feel like the price point puts it slightly on the "ouch" side...5 bucks less and it would be sold out I think. Or like 39.99. If the Hello Spring set dies were here instead of coming soon, I would get that right away too. But I don't really want to order them separately. Boo! Extra first world problems lol.

Those are some great freebies with purchase! I'm so tempted by Jana's and Laura's products. I love Laura's card. I'm very exciting to see the scrapbook layouts today, there are some great teachers.

Hmmmmm...I am not sure what I think of Ralph Tyndall. He's fine, but I am not seeing anything out of the ordainary for a cardmaker. The ASMR bit is a little ehhhhh for me as well. Obviously just my tiny opinion. He's ok.

Obviously just my tiny opinion. He's ok. We had a discussion about him on the cardmaking side. I checked his IG account and I was blown away that he has 776K followers. Here are some of the popular creators IG followers YanaS- 37.1K JenniferM- 116K Tim Holtz-181K In my eyes these people bring new ideas, creations. So the question is why is Ralph so popular when he is just making simple cards or at least I haven't seen anything that blows me away. I'm happy that he is successful, I just don't understand it. I wonder if his age and gender makes the difference 🤔

I wonder if his age and gender makes the difference 🤔 That's bonkers. I am at a loss as to why he has so many followers. But it makes sense why SB.Com reached out to him, if they think he can bring a new demographic to their market. I was whining during the video (he's been cardmaking for about an hour and a half and it's just not exciting) and DH made a good point. Our DS was in theater and if 100 kids auditioned and 90 of them were girls, only the very very best girls got a part. But those 10 boys? They were sure to get something. DS (who was good, I am not saying he wasn't) almost always got a lead. Sometimes he was 1 of only 3 guys to audition. Ralph seems nice enough.

I am a tiny bit disapointed that they did not change it up more, seems like the 12x12 scrapbooking will be at the very end. I wish a traditional scrapbooker could have been featured yesterday.

I watched on and off yesterday while I was working. I liked that it was just one continuous live. I'm still on the fence about Carissa's bundle. I like what Natasha is doing with the rub-ons. We got that paper and rub-ons at crop & create last year. It was one of my favorite kits.

I'm really liking Nicki Baxley's masculine card. Personally I would have added anotherr color to the tiny stripes, but I love it! Except mine wouldn't say BRO
