I knew Tuesday Morning sold scrapbooking supplies, but the last time I went in was a few years ago, and they didn't have much to choose from. I decided to stop in today and I feel like I hit the motherload, even if I am behind the times. LOL I got loads of thickers, prima flowers, cosmo cricket packs!! I'm pretty excited that I only spent $30 for everything too. They had lots of stamps and other stuff but hubby was with me so I had to show some restraint. I'll go back tomorrow when he's at work. i5ycex

TM has been my favorite scrapbook store lately. I was scrapbooking in my own little world for so long, until I discovered Two Peas last fall. All of the TM stuff is new to me, and it's given me a chance to catch up with stamps, ink, embellishments, kits and paper without spending a fortune.

I hadn't been in one in a couple years either. A few weeks ago I had some time to kill and went into mine on a whim and snagged a ton of cardstock. Will have to go back for sure.

I stopped in last week after not having been in at least 3 years. I bought some fun embellies and there was plenty to buy. I just don't need much anymore.

I have a TM very close to my house, and all I can say is I don't need any more temptations. Really. I have plenty of stamps and paper. But I still go there every 3 or 4 months anyway. (Blush)

What kind of Prima's did they have? Ours closed and the closest one is 45 min away- not sure if I want to make the drive.

I stopped in to 2 different TM's. I scored some American Crafts cardstock at one, but not much was at the other one.

Was there yesterday. I picked up 3 packs of Thicks, 3 small packs packs of 7Gypsies stamps, 2 Heidi Grace 6 x 6 paper packs and a 6 x 6 WRMK ring binder. Total cost about $25.00. Walked around the store for a while, thought about my jam packed scrap room and put it all back.
But.... I am tempted to return today. The internal conflict continues since I have been frozen for about eight months.

I went there looking for some WRMK page protectors. I did pick up a pack, though not the ones I was looking for.
However, I did find dry erase dots! I'm beyond excited. They're $15 for three. I bought a set at the teacher store a couple years ago. I picked up three different sets for $6 each! I'm going to use them in my small group table at school.
I know...not scrap related but I had to share with others who will understand coming across and unexpected bargain!

This store is very hit or miss. Somedays, I walk out of there with 20 things and other days it's a scrapbooking desert. I try and only go on Wednesdays or Thursdays because they get their shipments in on either one of those days and the selection is better (usually).

I was amazed when I walked out with three 25-sheet packs of specialty "Little Yellow Bicycle" card stock/glitter paper. I googled the retail value of the sheets ($2.49 ea.) and it came to over $186 before taxes! The individually wrapped sheets had been bundled into a larger cello bag and I specifically pointed this out to the young girl and stock boy behind the counter. Each sheet was individually tagged but they just smiled and shrugged and charged me $6 (plus tax) for three packs! These are the densely glittered lace-like 12x12" sheets in pink hearts, red pointsettia and blue star patterns. These will be perfect bases for party decorations!
Also bought an adorable 25 sheet back of puppy print card stock weight paper by the same maker. I googled that too and the retail was $25 which they sold for $1.99. Now, don't faint girls, but the the clear acetate metallic argyle patterned sheets are regularly $3.79 ea. so the retail is $94.75 (before taxes) - snagged that 25 pack for $1.99. So, it was basically all "free", lol!
My guess is that at this particular TM they didn't have a scrapper on duty that day so they put out the merch just as it arrived by mistake. I've been there before and never found anything close to these prices and seriously doubt I will again;)

Nope, not a mistake, that's how they sell them all the time! And when Big Lots was selling scrap goodies they had 25 paper packs for super cheap too. I love TM for scrap goodies.

I love TM for crafty items...this past week I was able to buy The Antique brass square Hooks by 7gypsies(for 99 cents; org. $3.99) they only had 4 packs of them and of course I bought em all. I have NEVER been able to find them at J's or Mike's in my area so I was super excited and grateful to get them.

I'm under that rock with you. I've never been to TM. I've heard about it here all the time but have yet to check them out. I need to put that on my list!

Totally not a pricing mistake...their 25 sheet paper packs are always 1.99. I buy them and use them as base cardstock for LOs or to make an album coordinate by using the same sheet throughout. I've used their Graphic 45 paper packs for mini album type and other types of chipboard projects where I used to get anxious over a mis-cut. Now, it doesn't matter...I have 25 sheets for 1.99 instead 1 sheet for 1.99!
And, they don't have a "scrapper" on duty. None of the ladies at my store seem to even know anything about scrapbooking other than the merchandise is in the craft area. They just put it out and ring it up.
I love the whole hit and miss of Tuesday Morning in general. Since it is all close outs, it is always like a mini treasure hunt.

I'm a recent TM convert, too! I can't believe those $1.99 packs with 25 sheets in them! I even picked up Crate Paper gold dot vellum for $1.99 this week. I resisted most of the other crazy good deals on glitter/foil/specialty papers because I just can't see using 25 sheets, but those Crate Paper packs came home with me.

My TM is so hit or miss. I found an adorable Christmas collection pack by Cosmo Cricket once, but nothing that good since then. I'll have to check back again soon.

Sometimes I find nothing worth buying in their scrapbook section, and sometimes I hit the mother lode.
I have found that the different Tuesday Morning stores get different stuff. Some seems to be the same, some is very different. Some stores either get more scrapping goodies than others, or the stores where I never find anything good may have other scrappers near them who beat me to the good stuff.
One of my scrapping buddies moved to the other side of the country. She has found different stuff than I have found, so we are doing a swap and splitting paper packs. She has 3 TM stores within 5 to 10 minutes from her home. I have to travel a lot farther to visit the various stores, but sometimes it is worth it.

With all this enabling, I stopped by the TM close to work today (where I usually find good scrappy goodies) and to my horror, they are CLOSING. *Sigh* They had nothing.
