Well, Tennessee is another state I can mark off my imaginary list of places I would move to if the California quakes become too much.

I was surprised (and horrified) that Miller found a woman who would marry him. He is a deeply disturbed individual.



I doubt anybody here ever thought that TFG had a more imaginative plan. That he implies he might just reminds me of his "great health care plan" that remains perpetually two weeks away.

Republicans' impeachment probe of President Biden is unraveling because of a lack of evidence — but their work could become the basis for federal investigations and even prosecutions of the Biden family if Donald Trump wins re-election, Axios has learned.

Why it matters: Trump has vowed retribution against his enemies if he wins in November. House Republicans have struggled to show Biden has done anything illegal, but people close to Trump are still plotting to use the Justice Department against Biden and his family.

A source close to the Trump campaign said that "everything you have seen from the Biden DOJ," in terms of the charges against Trump, "you can expect to see from the Trump DOJ."
One Trump ally argued that there is precedent for a second Trump administration to investigate and prosecute the Bidens: the current federal charges against Trump.

Reality check: Those charges stem from allegations that Trump led a conspiracy to try to overturn the 2020 election, and that he illegally kept classified documents and then schemed to conceal that he'd taken them.

That's what usually happens with TFG's "shoot first, ask questions later" approach as he grabs everything for himself. The same will happen to all government agencies if he's allowed to win and launch his "Project."

Not every one in a nursing home is incompetent.. physically disabled maybe, yes. I had a friend, 86, who broke her hip, she chose a nursing home to avoid moving to where her sons lived. She was confined to a wheelchair, but still sharp as a tack!! Veterans' homes for those who have out lived families!

Also... They will verify the address he claimed for flood insurance he collected, whether residency or second home. All on his $1.7 million home there in Florida. There are too different paths.


In a tweet, Rogers — who represented Michigan's 8th Congressional District between 2001 and 2015 — wrote, "I'm proud to be born and raised right here in Michigan. And I will be proud to serve my home in the U.S. Senate."

This prompted Austin Cook, the communications director for Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI), to tweet a screenshot of Rogers' voter registration record that shows a Florida ZIP code and a voter status of "active."

"Fun fact: @mikerogersformi is literally registered to vote in Florida right now," Cook wrote, tagging Rogers' official campaign account.

According to Newsweek, Rogers is currently living at his sister-in-law's home in Brighton, Michigan while a home he bought in West Lake Township is undergoing renovations. Michigan Advance reported that Rogers' official residence was a home in Cape Coral, Florida prior to him announcing his candidacy for the U.S. Senate.

The Constitution dictates that in order to run for U.S. Senate, a candidate must be a U.S. citizen for at least nine years, be at least 30 years old, and be a legal resident of the state they seek to represent at the time of election.

This means that, even as a current Florida resident, Rogers could still represent Michigan in the U.S. Senate if his residency in the Mitten State is established prior to the first Tuesday in November. Being a registered voter at his West Lake Township home would ostensibly meet the Constitution's residency requirements.

Andy Kim has it right, we, the constituents, are the entity who should benefit or essentially “profit” from the actions of our government representatives. Our representatives & senators should work ‘for’ us the constituents being benefited rather than a product or service they are ‘selling’ to us at their profit or benefit
