I gave you the benefit of the doubt and tried to have a real conversation with you. Even after the following... You've made it clear that you just can not handle differing opinion. You've made it clear that you will desperately use your parents' death to TRY to win an argument and desperately try to tie ME to their death. Desperately, being the operative word. Don't try to pretend you're anything but an unhinged lunatic. I in no way tried to tie you to my parents’ death, you absolute loon. Yes, you absolutely did: "And my parents were both killed by a middle aged white American with two prior drunk driving convictions who felt it was OK to operate his boat at over twice the legal limit. Oh and he had a Rush Limbaugh sticker on that boat, so he was one of yours." Yes, you did. You absolute unhinged lunatic.

Saying that he shared political views with you, is on your side or belongs to your party is not the same thing as trying to tie you to her parents death. For someone who insists on precision and accuracy, you're stretching and exaggerating here. You are not very accurate with your own words.

Only in what passes for your mind. Go back and find whatever specific post I was responding to, and quote that, too. You want to know what I do blame you for? The fact that my young adult daughters don’t feel safe or welcome in their home state any longer. That has come about specifically because of politicians and policies that you support. I blame you and all GOP voters for that 100%

I was responding to a list of crimes committed by immigrants that you were using to justify “closing the border” or mass deportations or whatever. I used the conjunction ‘and’ to tie it to the link I quoted, and then asked you where your outrage was for this crime committed by a US citizen to make the point that lumping all of a group in with the actions of one isn’t logical. Any five year old would have seen the comparison being made, particularly after I explained it to you in that very thread. But rather than admit your mistake, you’ve doubled down and encouraged me several times to “get therapy” about it or whatever in other threads that bore no relation to that one, simply because you couldn’t handle disagreement. You are either painfully stupid or dishonest or both. Matters not to me. You’re beneath contempt.

Hoping would be a distraction and there would be less attention on his inability to pay his bond? I'm assuming he knew on Saturday that his lawyers would be filing an affidavit to that effect today. www.npr.org/2024/03/18/1239242523/trump-bond-civil-fraud-caseTrump unable to post $450M bond in New York fraud case, his lawyers say MARCH 18, 2024 By Andrea Bernstein Lawyers for former president and presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump say coming up with the bond on roughly half a billion dollars while he appeals his New York fraud judgment is a "practical impossibility."
Trump's lawyers say they've approached 30 companies through four brokers and none will accept his real estate holdings as a guarantee on the bond for $454 million and argue the judgment is unconstitutionally high. Wow, Gia/cowbell whoever you are, that’s really reaching into the way back closet to try to ‘gotcha’ someone. WTF. Taking something and twisting it out of context to throw one of a persons most painful experiences at them years later for no reason, having absolutely nothing to do with the current topic. That had to be one of the bitchiest things I’ve ever seen a pea post to another pea. Thats really low & nasty behavior.
I hope you have the day you deserve. I hope someday someone throws one of your great losses in your face for no reason because then maybe you know how it feels.

IMO, absolutely. I agree that the “bloodbath” comment was said when he was talking about the auto industry and not just a general comment…HOWEVER if you think that when he said it he was only speaking about the auto industry and that he was not trying to insinuate anything else than I have a bridge to sell you.
Listen to his comments: "Now, if I don't get elected, it's gonna be a bloodbath for the whole -- that's gonna to be the least of it -- it's gonna be a bloodbath for the country. That'll be the least of it," he said.
for the whole??? Industry ? That is what he knew he should say but purposely made it a comment that is not just talking about the car industry. And anyone paying attention or who knows Trump’s m.o. will have a hard time denying that…or at least they should. 😉

Your repeated personal attacks and lies say otherwise. Hon, if I cared what you thought, I’d be nicer. Pound sand. No you wouldn't. You've never been nice, to different opinions if they stand up for facts or their opinion. The standard here is, say your opinion we'll tell you your wrong and you are expected to sit down and shut up then. Or else, we'll hit whoever with personal attacks, pile ons and demands of proof. Which, when provided, are summarily dismissed for the most idiotic reasons. It's why so many who may disagree don't actively participate any more.

This is totally ridiculous and in line with his attacks on mainstream media (fake news etc) Also the hypocrisy of complaining when he gets sued but it's perfectly OK for him to sue anyone he wants is unbelievable. www.nytimes.com/2024/03/18/us/politics/trump-lawsuit-abc-stephanopoulos.htmlTrump Sues ABC and Stephanopoulos, Saying They Defamed Him The lawsuit stems from the anchor’s recent contentious interview with Representative Nancy Mace. Former President Donald J. Trump filed a defamation lawsuit against ABC News on Monday, arguing that the anchor George Stephanopoulos had harmed his reputation by saying multiple times on-air that Mr. Trump had been found liable for raping the writer E. Jean Carroll.A jury in a Manhattan civil case last year found Mr. Trump liable for sexually abusing and defaming Ms. Carroll, but did not find the former president liable for rape. The judge, however, later clarified that because of New York’s narrow legal definition of “rape,” the jury’s finding did not mean that Ms. Carroll “failed to prove that Mr. Trump ‘raped’ her as many people commonly understand the word ‘rape.’”Mr. Stephanopoulos, who was named as a co-defendant, said Mr. Trump was found liable for rape during a contentious interview on March 10 with Representative Nancy Mace, Republican of South Carolina. During the interview, Mr. Stephanopoulos asked Ms. Mace, who has spoken publicly about being raped as a teenager, why she continued to support Mr. Trump in light of the outcome of the civil case.Mr. Trump, who often galvanizes his supporters by attacking the press, has filed a string of unsuccessful defamation suits against major media organizations. Federal judges have dismissed his suits against CNN, The New York Times and The Washington Post. defamation lawsuitDonald Trump is suing ABC News and George Stephanopoulos, claiming the “This Week” host harmed his reputation by saying that Trump was found liable for raping E. Jean Carroll.Donald Trump, who boasted how he likes to assault women (Grab them by the pu**y") and was credibly accused by 26 women of sexual assault, was found liable by a Manhattan federal jury for sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll in a luxury department store dressing room in the spring of 1996.While it's true that he wasn't technically found liable for rape, Judge Lewis Kaplan later clarified that because of New York’s narrow legal definition of “rape,” the jury’s finding did not mean that Ms. Carroll “failed to prove that Mr. Trump ‘raped’ her as many people commonly understand the word ‘rape.’”When Judge Kaplan dismissed Trump’s counter-defamation lawsuit against E. Jean Carroll in August, he made it very clear that Trump did rape her: "Indeed, the jury’s verdict in Carroll II establishes, as against Mr. Trump, the fact that Mr. Trump ‘raped her,’ albeit digitally rather than with his penis. Thus, it establishes against him the substantial truth of Ms Carroll’s ‘rape’ accusations.” Trump will lose this case

his thoughts went to the bloodbath that he wants/expects from the country, I think he was genuinely shocked that there wasn't a mass protest when he was indicted. It never occurred to him that people work during the day, that everybody knows what happened to hundreds of the Jan 6 knuckleheads (many convictions and imprisonments), and wouldn't come when he dog-whistled for them on the courthouse steps.

And he has also said that the justice department has to be under his direct order next time he’s president because they followed the law instead of his orders last time. 🤷♀️ sounds fascist to me. If I were Liz Cheney and he did win the electoral college in Nov I’d leave the country before Inauguration Day. I do wonder if there’s some list somewhere of people who have posted online that they’d arrest day one?
