Two questions to ask her.
1. Who stopped the potential legislation on immigration reform?
2. Inflation is down and continuing to drop. How is that an issue?
3. Statics show crime is down.
Aaron Rupar… ”McDANIEL: Voters right now in this country are going to be making a choice in November and they don't care about 2020.
WELKER: A lot of people say that it's fundamental to our country's democracy.
McDANIEL: I think they're thinking about inflation, the border, crime ...

I wonder if the strategy on McDaniel’s part is to stay until MSNBC feels it necessary to get rid of her, and then cry “cancel culture” for attention. Then she’ll end up on Newsmax or some crap.
I saw a tweet recently to the effect of, stop feeding us bullshit and calling it political discourse. That’s all this is. Bullshit disguised as a “both sides” argument.

So frustrating. She can say all she wants that this is the view of so many republicans. But the question is WHY IS THAT THEIR BELIEF??? It’s because people like her have repeated this lie over and over and over. Same with all of the other lies that they have spread. Also, is she really that dumb that she can’t recognize that in 2020 there was a pandemic that resulted in more mail in ballots than in 2016?

Rachel Maddow….
“Maddow: "I want to associate myself with all my colleagues both at MSNBC and at NBC News who have voiced loud and principled objections to our company putting on the payroll someone who hasn't just attacked us as journalists but someone who is part of an ongoing project to get rid of our system of government."

Rachel Maddow spent all or almost her entire show last night blasting NBC heads and Romney McDaniel, it was great!

Leadership at NBC raced to calm an uproar from within the network, some of it coming from some of the country’s best-known TV anchors, over the hiring of former RNC chair Ronna McDaniel. Now, news is breaking that the network has rescinded her hiring in the wake of growing pressure. "NBC NEWS plans to drop ex RNC-chair Ronna McDaniel as a paid contributor following on-air revolt from NBC/MSNBC talent. Execs are deliberating over details; announcement pending. Meanwhile, McDaniel is seeking legal representation," Puck News reporter Dylan Byers wrote in a post to X this Tuesday.

Meanwhile, McDaniel is seeking legal representation If both sides signed a contract, she'll be paid. Better that than losing their viewership and getting well-deserved attitude from their talent.

This is disgusting. I’m not an NBC watcher because frankly they are way too liberal for me. Now I’m glad I don’t watch. Let’s see if Rachel Maddow has the guts to say something. Oh, she had the guts all right.

Someone is not happy but expects a big payout!! WHAT SHE SAID — Will it be the $600,000 interview? The ramifications of NBC’s decision yesterday to part ways with contributor RONNA McDANIEL just two days after her paid network debut on “Meet the Press” are just starting to shake out. But they could be expensive. McDaniel expects to be fully paid out for her contract, two years at $300,000 annually, since she did not breach its terms, we’re told — meaning that her single, not-quite-20-minute interview Sunday could cost the Peacock more than $30,000 per minute, or $500 per second. That’s just one tidbit we’ve picked up from McDaniel’s side of things following yesterday’s announcement from NBCUniversal News Group Chair CESAR CONDE, and it might be just the beginning of the fallout. McDaniel spoke yesterday with BRYAN FREEDMAN, renowned lawyer to the estranged cable-news stars, to discuss legal options even beyond recouping the dollar value of her original contract. While no arrangement is final, a person close to McDaniel tells us, Freedman would be an obvious choice: He represented MEGYN KELLY in her own acrimonious parting with NBC, as well as ousted anchors CHRIS CUOMO, DON LEMON and TUCKER CARLSON in disputes with their respective former networks. McDaniel, we’re told, is exploring potential defamation and hostile work environment torts after MSNBC’s top talent — momentarily her colleagues — took turns Monday blasting her on air. (NBC declined to comment about the $600,000 figure or her potential claims.) McDaniel was silent yesterday as the fallout from the internal network revolt mounted, and her perspective and role in the deal was largely lost as it unraveled in real time. She and her allies are, unsurprisingly, furious about how everything went down, believing she was misled about how much she’d be welcomed into the fold by executives who had aggressively recruited her. They blame the same NBC brass for botching the situation by not having her meet with top network talent ahead of the rollout, then caving to internal pressure from liberal-leaning hosts. Most of all, they’re furious that the network did little to push back on a multi-day campaign against their new hire on their own airwaves. Host after host cast McDaniel as an enemy of democracy for, among other things, participating in a November 2020 phone call where then-President DONALD TRUMP sought to convince Michigan GOP elections officials not to certify election results. “The part that pisses me off most about this is not necessarily that they folded; it’s [that] they allowed their talent to drag Ronna through the mud and make it seem like they were innocent bystanders,” the person close to McDaniel said. ......and a lot more..... www.politico.com/newsletters/playbook/2024/03/27/ronna-strikes-back-00149270

I was running errands, and decided to listen to Clay and Buck, two conservative chuckleheads. They were talking about Ronna, and said that NBC and MSNBC don’t “want Republicans who support Trump.”
Well, sure, if that means lying that the 2020 election was fixed or rigged-yeah, that’s true. Why would you hire a pundit who lied about an election?
But of course, they aren’t coming out and saying that. Or if they did, it was after I turned them off.

Ummm...ok.... From the tweet... "Ronna Romney McDaniel testified that the Republican National Committee was involved in creating fake electors to forward an illegal unconstitutional plan to overturn the 2020 election." "I don't know who is going to keep MSNBC informed of what normal people think because Ronna McDaniel is about as normal as they come," Hewitt said. "She represents the Republican Party." Hewitt's argument stands in direct contrast to the MSNBC audience, reporters, and staff who balked at the former chair's $300,000 contract. On-air personalities Chuck Todd and Rachel Maddow both went on air to condemn the hire. The conservative also positioned himself against former President Donald Trump, who took to Truth Social to mock McDaniel after her ouster was announced. "Wow! Ronna McDaniel got fired by Fake News NBC," Trump posted. "She only lasted two days, and this after McDaniel went out of her way to say what they wanted to hear." But Hewitt's words also struck a chord with viewers who watched his interview on social media Wednesday and found themselves agreeing that McDaniel does represent the Republican party. "That may be true," said Bernadette Hanson. "And that’s a very big problem." www.rawstory.com/ronna-mcdaniel-mocked/

never legitimize the election liesNBC/MSNBC should absolutely hire Republican, conservative, & MAGA voices. Every network should have diversity in viewpoints. But no network should hire people who believe Trump really won in 2020. He didn’t. It’s a lie. If you want to understand why people believe Trump really won in 2020, then, by all means, interview his supporters, hold town halls on the topic. But don’t hire someone who believes that lie and will echo that lie. Because you should never legitimize that lie.

ironyThe irony of Trump complaining about Ronna McDaniel being out of work is that he’s the reason she was out of work in the first place
Also, the irony of Trump saying anything at all about Ronna McDaniel is that he’s the reason why she calls herself Ronna McDaniel in the first place

Sorry for all of the posts. MAGAs and conservative media are losing their minds over McDaniels' firing. They dandy have a problem when Trump fired her and replaced her with loyalists. But, NBC/MSNBC firing her is completely unforgivable. Apparently they can't see the distinction between a non MAGA Republican and someone involved in the attempt to ovrerthrow the government and an election denier. traitor
