We're looking to move some time this year so I've been having a browse to see what's available atm, needless to say neither of these fit the brief!
Have you come across any *cough* unique houses lately?

I don't know what there isn't to love about it... there so much going on, I can't tell you where to start... hahahaha...
the second link didn't lead me to any one specific house.
But I think I would keep looking. haha
Okay looked at the second one.. the layout isn't not that bad for a tiny house... looks much better than those tiny apartments that you see in NYC. Those are for fleas. lol

I fixed the link to the second house (I think!).

Wow, the first house has an overabundance of texture and plants. So much texture. And plants.

The first one...WTAF is right...I have no idea. There's a bath mat on the kitchen table...and an electric lamp next to the sink...and all those fake flowers...wow, talk about oppressive!

The second one is, I guess, making best use of the space but no, not for me thanks

First house. The blue rug is a great selling point!😀

Hard to tell what is going on in that first one - except that textured wall paper must have been on sale. Is that area really cold? I don't think I've ever seen so many heaters in a place that small before...I can see 6. It might have potential if it was gutted and modernized, but still only for a single person though.
The second one is cute! I could have lived in something like that when I first moved out of home and didn't own much stuff yet.

That first one is my nightmare. Can you imagine the dust that would collect on those walls, and making it into a countertop when it isn’t flat? Ugh. But that second one was much better on the inside than I thought it was going to be. If you were not home too much, it could be a nice little place.

The first house, I don’t know what to say about the decor choices. I could barely see the layout of the property with all the clutter. It would certainly need to be gutted. The second house is fairly typical of a low income house for somebody who can’t afford any thing better. Perhaps it was built to house an elderly parent so they could be independent and nearby.

Well they’re different! Ok, so we’ve seen the kitchen of the second house, what about the rest of the place?

The first one says it comes furnished ... I was thinking I'd pay extra for it to come unfurnished!

Not 'unique' but rather appealing, I saw this the other day. It's not my exact dream house but it's lovely and it had me at the greenhouse I'd almost buy it for that alone

The first one made me shudder. The second one is tiny, but nice.

This explains the history of the tiny house Newspaper article It's not unusual to see really small houses squished between bigger ones here.
pjaye The first house is probably freezing in the Winter.

House 1: Brick wallpaper everywhere and on everything! It has potential. The house itself is nice. If all the brick wallpaper was removed from everywhere, it would look so different. The home decor does NOT help the overall presentation and aesthetic. I love a brick wall, but only one as an accent wall.
House 2: I love the tiny house, I could live there. But...I would need to remove everything and design the inside placement and arrangement myself. I wouldn't need that much kitchen space.

DS is house hunting and we both really liked one from the particulars. It was quirky and a bit different. He viewed today and hated it.

That first one must have purchased every single faux stone/brick style wallpaper available! The 2nd one looks just like a basic "meh" tiny house to me. Only larger--or at least wider--than most tiny houses, if the fact that they have a standard dining table is any indication. One of the things I tend to dislike about tiny homes is the lack of a permanent standard kitchen table location, instead using counters or bars or tables you have to fold down, prop up, etc. Style-wise, these 2 listings are the 2 extremes for me....the tiny house is so white/beige/gray that it would make me feel like I'm living in an office cubicle or some clinical setting, while the other one was so incredibly busy with colors and textures that my eyes could barely decipher what was going on. I need a happy medium, people!

I could do the second one but no to the first as it doesn’t has a shower or tub jut a new basin, toilet and cabinet. And the kitchen layout is odd.

I could live in the second home any day of the week compared to that first home. Holy hell it makes me nervous just looking at it!

The first one looks like it's peel and stick so maybe removal wouldn't be completely horrible, albeit time-consuming. And why is there a picture of a drain and a damp icky wall.
The second is just living in a hallway.

I love the second one. But then I love tiny houses/apartments/RVs.

And why is there a picture of a drain and a damp icky wall. Because that's probably the only 'outside space'.

lainey, you could always buy the second one just for Sushi. It’s a perfect size for him. 😉

The irony that the first one covered in faux “nature” is situated next to a community garden did it for me 😂
