I love seeing what everyone came up with. I've been playing around with AI in Canva this week - I've been wanting weather stickers for my memory planner - and it's so fun. In Canva you can choose what style you want - Anime, Watercolor, Retro, etc. There's just so much choose from that I'm having trouble deciding exactly what I want. I did some cute clouds with lightning coming out of them, and some fluffy rain clouds, as well. This is the free version, by the way, I don't subscribe to Canva.

Okay, I have to ask if you are just taking images from the internet into Photoshop and tweaking them, or is there an online program or site you are using?
I use Photoshop Elements a lot, but it’s an older version.
Links or more info, please, would be helpful for those of us who want to give this a try.

scrapnnanawww.bing.com/images/create?FORM=GENILPOne you have that open click on the pink "create" button at the upper right. Then on the left side type what you want in the section below where it say "Copilot - Designer" I found that could copy the image, paste it into my Silhouette, trace it and turn it into a "print and cut" Hope that helps - have fun

I didn't realize Canva had this ability built in, that's cool. I tried Canva once last year and I was so confused, I couldn't figure out what to do. Maybe I'll look into it again at some point!

scrapnnana One more thing, you can type in cartoon or drawing or black and white and get a totally different look.

I have barely touched the surface of AI so didnʻt even think to use it for paper crafting projects! Love the California sticker with the wonky "N"!

Ah, love that last sticker though - but goodbye digital designers/artists. I also sometimes wonder about how it "borrows" images from other art. I duno?!
I’ve been buying a lot of designs off Etsy, many which look like they are AI generated. I asked my son about AI software, and was surprised at his very negative reaction, due to AI using artists’ works without their permission. Technically, I think AI probably falls under “derivative works” when it comes to using or adapting the artwork of others. Perhaps there is a certain percentage has to be altered in order for it to get around copyright laws? I don’t know how they could get around the copyright issues otherwise, unless it’s just being ignored “for the greater good.” My son’s biggest concern is that it is driving actual artists out of work, and he has a point there. What seemed odd is that he didn’t seem bothered about my buying designs off Etsy, many of which are AI, is a big issue. I don’t see how my buying Etsy designs and learning to make my own using an AI program would be that different. I’d still like to learn to create designs using AI. So I decided to see if I could find out more about the conflict between AI and copyrighted works. It turns out that currently, anything that you produce using AI with word prompts cannot be copyrighted. It also sounds like the courts are still working out the copyright issues. So if you create anything with AI, anyone can legally use your AI creations, because anything you make with AI can’t currently be copyrighted. Copyright vs. AI Generated works
