I air dry everything as we don't have a dryer. Mostly, I use drying racks in the bathroom or in DH's office. Sometimes in summer, I'll put the racks outside, but not often.

We're in an apartment so I toss them in the dryer.

Dryer. My allergies are so bad that I couldn't hang anything outside and HOA wouldn't allow it anyway.

Air dry as long as I can. I'm out there in the spring in a jacket and my fingers are cold and there is still snow on the ground. I love the smell of air dried.

On the line during our warmer months. In the dryer the rest of the year.

Tumble dryer, we don't have space to hang them outside and I don't want a wet king size duvet cover hanging in the house.

Airer indoors with dehumidifier in the winter, or airer in the conservatory in warmer weather. Never the dryer.

On the clothes line outside in the warmer months. On the clothes horse / airer inside during winter, and finished off in the dryer if necessary. Exactly this ^^^

Dryer. Combination of pollen and humidity makes outside drying unworkable here most of the year.

Dryer. We don’t have a clothes line outside. same. I don't think anyone in my town has a clothes line - I've never seen clothes hanging outside anywhere...

I use my dryer. I live in a townhouse/condo and we are not allowed to have clothes lines. I would probably use my dryer most of the time even if I could use a clothesline. I don’t like the stiffness of line dried items (although I do like the smell)
Growing up, my mother line dried everything when the weather was good. (Basically spring, summer, and fall if it wasn’t rainy). She loved the fresh smell of line dried clothes, but it meant a lot of ironing (that is another story) too. As she got older she ended up mostly just hanging out her sheets, and now I think she just uses the dryer for everything.
My grandmother, on the other hand, line dried everything. She had a dryer but I bet I could count on my fingers and toes the number of times she used it. Winter, spring, summer and fall, it didn’t matter. She also did her washing around good drying days. If it was raining or snowing, or too humid, she wasn’t doing laundry.

Right now, in the dryer.
There's a relatively short window of time in which I can hang items outdoors, unfortunately. Between the weather and the fact that we are completely surrounded by trees, and therefore pollen, this time of year is tough.

I wish I could hang them outside but the HOA says no-no.

I live in an apartment, so it's dryer for me in the common laundry room.

I have to dry them in a dryer as none of the HOA's I've lived in allow you to have clothes lines. There is no room to hang them in my laundry room. Airers are not common in the U.S. Even though I use the permanent press cycle, I find that my sheets have been shrinking. They fitted sheet barely fits on my bed and I have to pull them with all my strength to get it over my mattress.

I love to hang them outside to dry in the summer (once the heavy pollen has settled down).
In the winter, I partially dry the fitted sheet and then hang it (so the elastic lasts longer) and I fully dry the top sheet and pillow cases.

Always use the dryer. I have allergies and I choose not to be miserable whenever possible.
I also do not want to try to hang king-size bedding inside the house. My usual practice is to wash, dry, and put them back on the bed, so time is also a factor.

Dryer. I've never hung anything outside. It just seems like a hassle with the dust, dirt, pollen, bugs, etc.

Dryer. No clothesline and nobody around here hangs things to dry. I will occasionally hang throw rugs over the pool fence.

Mine go straight to the dryer. My mom was a fanatic about hanging her sheets out to dry. She loved the crisp sheets and smell of the fresh air.
