I got about 3/4 of the way through a folio that I made to document my 60th birthday trip to Mystic, CT last year. I followed a video by MayMay Made It; and even though I had to make a few small tweaks to the measurements, it turned out really well. I printed the photos, made the folio, added the decorative papers, and stuck down all the photos. All that's left are the embellishments and the journaling. Oh, yeah, and I started the day searching for cherries (got all 250) and shopping on ACOT. And I was watching SCT videos while I scrapped.
What did you do?

I went to a Lawn Fawn cardmaking class taught by Jenn Shurkus which took most of the day, shopped at the store she was teaching at, and scrapbooked a bit more of an abandoned trip mini album lol. I did treat myself to some supplies for the album thinking it would help kick start my motovation and it did!

Not a darn thing 🫠! My kids came home to visit and we hung out and visited. I've got hopes for today, if not I might make plans for next weekend.

Yesterday? I barely spent any time scrapping. I did some fussy cutting of elements and picked papers for a layout while I chatted with my friend but other wise the day was spent grocery shopping, checking out a friend's yard sale (I got a total of 4 Cricut mats new in package plus washi tape and some stickers for $3 - the customer before me pretty much wiped out the scrapping stuff though) and then took DD to a party in the city and we went to Target and Joanns while we waited to pick her back up.
I did scrap most of Thursday and Friday though and I'm headed to the scrap table in a few minutes. I'm doing the Scrapbook Generations crop this weekend

I attended a 9 AM - 9 PM fundraising crop with friends! I managed to complete three single page 12x12 layouts. I also made a few scrappy purchases, bought some 31 storage / bag items from a friend, enjoyed a yummy lunch and potluck dinner and had a wonderful time! Oh yeah, I also won a $25 gift card to a LSS that I will be putting to good use this summer

I spent the whole week letting everyone around me know that I would be occupied with scrapping all day Saturday, especially since I haven’t spend time at my table in weeks. That was a huge mistake because of course I jinxed it. Woke up Saturday feeling sick and spent all day in bed. I was not in the correct mindset to do anything craft related but I did finish a book. Today I’m feeling a bit better and I’m hoping to just pretend today is iNSD and see what I can get done. It might not be a productive day because I’m still not 100% and might not be feeling the crafty mojo but I will give it a shot.

@allyscrap, I hope you're feeling so much better!
I've spent HOURS upon HOURS editing photos and digital elements for WITL. I have barely touched paper lol I had no idea that this project would be so time consuming. I'm at, realistically 20+ hours spent. The nice thing is, once I get my stuff back from Persnickety, it will be a bunch of cutting, and putting in order, then a little embellishing, but then that is IT. It will be done. Or so I tell myself hahahahah
I did play around with my perpetual cart on ACOT. I have so much stuff, and I just really need to use what I have. I've been going a lot more digital, trying to save space and have less "left over stash." And I haven't been able to hit buy on ACOT in a while, as I can't justify it. And honestly, 20% just isn't good enough when there's still nothing newly released that I just have to have. I've been pretty bored with recent releases.
Happy Sunday!!

alleyscrap Hope you are feeling better soon. I guess what I mostly did was spend a lot of money. Yesterday, I placed a large scrapbook.com order for mainly organizers I need to complete my studio reorganization project. Then I placed an order with LayleByMail because her sale was awesome and I like to support small papercrafty businesses. I enjoy her lives on YT, also. Then this morning, I placed an order with Michaels for pickup. Eight total modules of their Simply Tidy cube system to redo my main work desk area. The order was ready in six minutes, so my husband and I went to get it and we've already put together all eight modules and installed them. I have loaded up about half of them with the things I planned to store in them and so far it's all working out great. I just got done rolling around on the floor trying to improve the cord management system a little. It's still not perfect, but it's a big improvement--I'll take it.

I’m still recovering from scrapping during the week so I didn’t do anything scrapbook related but checkout my cart so I wouldn’t miss the sale.

I'll be doing WITL next month and I'm not looking forward to the sheer of amount of photos I'll have to edit and print; first I have to decide what size I want the photo to be, so that means I have to kind of plan my layout first, so I'll need to figure out what I'm doing overall with the album - it's a lot of planning! But it is a fun project and it's awesome to have it to look back on in later years. I spent the day making half of a Mother's Day card, reorganizing my dies, and filling up various online carts for various sales and then closing off the tabs as I realize I really don't need to buy anything.

All I did was make one card and start another! I'm the slowest of crafters, but I swear it had much more to do with us having a lot going on and simply not having much crafting time. And then, yes, partly because I'm a slow-poke.

I spent the day driving home from moving DS18 out of his dorm in South Dakota...his freshman year flew by!
I did spend part of the time going thru the photos on my camera that I took. I took waaaaay too many at Bear Country, then DS18 & I took waaaaaay too many at Custer State Park because we saw so many baby buffalo and other animals. I'm blaming the new lens that DH got me for an early anniversary present because it allows ne to go from 18mm to 300 mm without changing lenses!
So I then also spent the rest of iNSD thinking "there's no way I'm going to fit all of these short trips to visit DS at college in a 6x8 album..." and trying to decide what my other options are (because I really don't want to do a 12x12 album for each trip).

I did a 2 week "out west" trip in summer of 2020. It took me 3 6x8's. I should have went right to a 9x12 I think. Don't be like me!! Also, I am stoked for you to have so many beautiful photos to commemorate the end of a successful senior year!! Priceless!!

marg, I absolutely hope you have a fantastic WITL when you choose to do it! I decided to do it with the community, even though it was an insanely busy week because I wanted to do it while all the hype was happening... since it was my first time doing it as a project. I knew I was going to be busy, but I've been scrapbooking for so long that taking photos/notes is second nature, so I didn't think it would intrude terribly on my week. It didn't. I just realized in the time since my post, that 99% of my problem is that I've gotten so much better than I used to be in PSE. I've been manipulating every element, and using so many kits (recoloring etc) and I want to stash bust like crazy when it's time to add the physical product... I literally just spent about 45 minutes elongating and recoloring and adding borders and text to a chipboard piece from the Around Here kit. This was added to a photo that was sized to 3x4. This 3x4 photo, and 3 others (that were equally meticulously treated like an entire page/canvas, were added to a template from the 2023 WITL collection (which I've done a couple of this template for each day so far-I'm on Thursday.) Then I recolored an element from an ancient Story kit, masked it to a circle shape, then placed it in the center of the template (of course replacing what was already there- the one that says small wins in the center.) An hour and 45 minutes later, I've completed one 6x8 page, one of about 7-8 pages for each day. I'm torturing myself LOL I kinda want to go buy all the damn things and just send a bunch of photos off and cut and stick til my hearts content. I keep telling myself that I HAVE to embrace digital and it will help me get my scrap room under control. Well.. It's certainly improving my PSE skillset. Now I go nuts if there are any shaded pixels not right. I totally get spending a half a day on one Mother's Day card. You are my people LOL

I did nothing except watch the SCT iNSD class videos. Spent the morning helping dgs get organized to move back home, and then visiting with dd who had come to collect him. Then I crashed for the rest of the day. In the evening, I dug out some pic's and papers to scrap with today. (Managed to finish two 2-pagers this morning, one of the four pages based on one of the classes I watched yesterday.).

I scrapbooked for the first time in a very, very long time!
Unfortunately, before I got my two page layout finished, I started with vertigo, but at least I made some good progress on it. The vertigo is gone, and the layout is done, or nearly done. I’m trying to decide if I want to add anything more.

Had to work. No scrapbooking. Looked for cherries all three days, got the maximum each day. Went to Michaels today(Sunday) and used my 50% off coupon. Put stuff in my cart at ACOT and SB.com, but didn't make a purchase yet....waiting for better shipping deals.

I attended my son's baseball game and then took him and his 6 friends to a local play place like SkyZone for his birthday. While we were there, a piece of drywall in my office fell off the ceiling which was like a plaster bomb going off on the first floor. We spent the evening cleaning up. I think I was asleep before my head even hit the pillow.
I wish I had been doing something scrap-related!

I told my daughter ahead of time that on Saturday I would need her to watch the cat for me so I could get out my Cricut (Mr. Kitty loves to sit by the Cricut and bat at the paper coming out or try to knock things off my scrap table). I cut out some stuff for Mother's Day cards and layouts. So I guess I at least did something scrapbook related.

Hi everyone! Life is so busy...good, but busy! I spent the weekend at a scrapbooking crop with a group that has been going to the same crops the same dates for almost 10 years now....I managed to get 50 pages done, of my sweet little furbaby Bentley, and his book is done....or until I keep snapping more pics of him, lol. We ate, scrapped, laughed and enjoyed each other's company....I needed this 3 day crop badly.

I went to a 2 day in person crop. I have not been to an in person crop in years. I was so happy to meet some new in person scrappy friends. I have been scrapping at home since, I took the week off for a staycation and plan to spend most of the week scrapping.
