As a spinoff of the announcement on 3/4 ( here) that Pinkfresh will not release scrapbook collections for 12-18 months while reassessing the industry & its products, what changes would you recommend (e.g. existing products to keep, new products you'd like to see added, aesthetic adjustments, etc.)? TIA.

Love the quality of the papers, but all the lines seem very same-same to me. Also a change of ephemera etc would be good.

I agree with kiwikate - there’s always something about their lines I don’t quite like (size of icons on pp, colour combinations of collection), and the fact that all of the lines are so similar means that I don’t quite like every one of them!

love their alphabets and their flower die cuts. I find their paper to be excellent quality but challenging to work with - it doesn't always cut down well to 8.5x11 and some of the colours are ...not my favourite shades. OTH I've made some layouts that I absolutely love with their paper

Pinkfresh is usually hard for me to use and for the life of me, I can't really pinpoint why. It's the sign of a good company that they're working to make changes or improvements to fit the current market. I don't know whether it's the white backgrounds or the mostly pastel-y colors but it's hard for me to mix Pinkfresh with other mfg's collections. They do have excellent floral accents and I find them easier to use and incorporate. I look forward to seeing what they bring us next.

Dear Pinkfresh, Please don't stop making flair. No one else makes chipboard flair and I would miss it.

I love, love, love their embellishments. Some of the paper lines I feel there isn't enough contrast between the papers for me to layer in the way that I typically scrapbook. There tends to be a lot of designs in similar scale and white space which can make that challenging. I love the weight of the paper though. I have also really loved the two travel lines that they did. I think with just some minor tweaks they could become a favourite for me.

I like that their enamel dots have 7 rows of colors while others have less and PF is usually $1 less.

I love their embellishments too, but would agree that sometimes the colors in the releases just seem too similar to other ones (which is not a problem exclusive to Pinkfresh). I would still love it if just one scrapbook company would come out with dramatically different color combinations, like the old basic gray stuff!

I love the Geralyn (in a creative bubble lines) lines. The color palettes and her designs are just so usable and versatile.

I love the Geralyn (in a creative bubble lines) lines. The color palettes and her designs are just so usable and versatile. I agree! What I would love to see is a clean, modern asthetic with just a splash of florals, or very limited florals. Updated saying are great too, I liked a lot of Some Days and things like that. No "best day ever" or "blessed". Lots of gender neutrals would be important. Women like navy blue and forest green too!

I don't have a lot of use for the heavily floral lines but I love the more linear ones. I really liked the office collection, the travel collection, and the school collection. I used a lot of those. I would also make sure that each line had a variety of scales- a lot of their lines have very large patterns so it is hard to cut them down or layer them. The lines tend to be very word heavy. I do like most of the sayings but it would be nice if they included more embellishments without words, too. Also, enough with that mustard yellow- I'm over that color. My favorite embellishments from their lines are the enamel dots, alphabets, and frames- those are very versatile. I do like the stickers but again, so many words.

I would like far fewer florals and pastels. I've had enough of them already! I wish they would go back to what I considered to be fresher lines. I love Some Days, Simply the Best, Right Now; they are my recent favorites. These lines broke out of the mold they created for themselves and I think by gauging feedback they were rewarded. Then the next line would come out and more pastels and florals.
Oldies, but goodies, Office Hours, Life Noted, Indigo Hills, Dream On, Live More, Escape the Ordinary, Boys Fort... I could go on and on. These lines are still fresh today, with great color ways and nary a floral in sight.
Along the way, Pinkfresh has continued to stand out with their quality and clean feel, but their lines used to feel unique with each release. In the past 2-3 years it is difficult to tell one line from another, with colors, patterns, and embellishments feeling very same-y.
I really want them to go back to their roots.

I love paper above all else, so I rarely even look at anything else a company offers, if I don't get pulled in by their papers. And for some reason their papers just don't draw my eye. When I purposely look at just their brand, the papers look similar to me to the point where it's not even obvious where one line ends and another begins, kwim? Plus they tend to use a lot of colors that I do not use. So at this point, they haven't been a good fit for me, personally, which is fine given there are so many other companies for me to buy from. But if they do happen to come back with something different in general style or color palette, I will definitely give it a look.

The color scheme for Simply the Best was so, so good and usable.

Love: Puffy alpha stickers (especially the smaller ones) Puffy stickers - I would love a pack of just stars or stars, dots, asterisks, and diamonds (like the smaller bits in the Simply The Best puffy sticker sheet, but lots and lots of them!) Enamel dots! Chipboard flair Chipboard frames Cardstock stickers Designs by Geralyn Sy Unique sayings that aren’t “best day ever” stuff Tags Masculine/travel lines and color schemes - PF blues and greens are always yummy! Variety of colors and patterns/scale B-sides that read as solids or more simple pattern/one color The nice paper weight/thickness Patterned (especially multi-color stripe) cardstock backing in the embellishment and alpha packs. I learned to use that in the Holiday class White base for papers (and not cream base)
Not a fan/don’t use: Pink/pastel color schemes Florals Too many papers in one collection with icons on white background (makes it hard to mix it up or layer on a layout because there’s little range of value contrast and pattern scale) Weird geometrics Oversized patterns Layered embellishments (with the wood veneer or bars)
I’m also over the mustard yellow, tomato red, and salmon pink. I’d prefer a cooler red and less brown yellow.

Pink Fresh is my favorite manufacturer and I faithfully bought entire collections until the past year and a half. The reason why? I absolutely abhor mustard yellow or a bright yellow. It seems that every collection has had some ugly hue of yellow (especially if they are designed by Cassidy Demkov). Why not a pretty pastel yellow instead Pink Fresh?! The only collection I loved and purchased multiples of was Lovely Blooms by Flora Farakas. There was a smidge of yucky yellow that I could work around or cut out. The palette was so pretty with unique patterned paper. I’d love to see more collections designed by Flora. I’d also suggest that they cut back on icons, felt, fabric or wood veneer. I typically buy 2 or 3 packs of the floral ephemera. I am really hoping they are just on a pause and this is not the end of their scrapbooking lines.

I love the Geralyn (in a creative bubble lines) lines. The color palettes and her designs are just so usable and versatile. I also gravitate toward the PFS-Geralyn Sy/IACB collaborations for their modern, non-gendered, & non-floral aesthetic with usable cool color palettes & versatile designs.

But I also received alot of it in one of my grab box. So it may have not done as well when it released. I think Pinkfresh has tried their hands on some very different collections and I would want to see them making a comeback with some really unique products. People who buy online scrapbook supplies does not fit into the demographic of the people who buy from stores and that may have not worked in Pinkfresh's favor. Taking a pause and rethinking their product offerings is a great idea.

The fact that the collection contained choir paper was mindboggling to me! So awesome. I still have 3 12x12 sheets, some of a 6x6 paper pad and a couple pieces of ephemera.

I echo your "love" & "not a fan/don't use" lists & especially hope for the above - a pack of versatile stars/dots/asterisks/sparkles puffy stickers (or ephemera) added to the PFS embellishments roster for each collection!
