Please share which choice most closely describes how frequently you purchase (not just peruse) papercrafting supplies in an average year. TIA.

None of the categories apply to me. I am random and all over the place in regards to purchase frequency and habits. There is no rhyme or reason to my purchasing frequency (or lack thereof). I save Birthday and Christmas gift card and money, to use for my purchases. So I purchase when there is new product that I want.
If I buy, it's when new products come out and when there is free shipping deals. My online shopping tends to be clustered closer together, several orders in one month-6 weeks, then nothing for 2,3,4 months.....until new product comes out. I tend to do multiple orders at the same company(ACOT) in a month-ish.....because of pre-orders and "have to buy it when I see it, or risk missing out". I have missed out before...when some items in my cart were "out of stock" because I wait too long to place my order. Sometimes product is restocked, sometimes it isn't. I also edited and re-edit my online cart more than once...while the cart is "in the waiting phase" and before I click the "place order" button. I can't always buy everything in my cart, because of budgetary constraints. I often add items based on >> at first glance, impulse shopping, loved it at first...but on the 2nd or 3rd look it was more of a "like or no longer like or I have something very similar....so it gets delete from the cart. I prioritize >> Love and have to have it, love, like it a lot, like.........then I edit my cart based on that.
If Michaels or Joann has a good coupon, then I might stop by and *try* to use it, although both companies rarely get anything new in the scrapbook section. Hobby Lobby, I only buy when the stickers and paper are on sale (which is usually every other week).

I’m not sure where I would fit on this poll. There are times when I might order supplies 2 or 3 times in one month and then not buy anything again for several months. Sales play a big part in when I order papercrafting supplies.

I wasn't sure how to vote either. I often get a gift card for Christmas and/or my birthday that I mainly use for restocks - albums, adhesive, cardstock - but also for clearance items and the occasional I need/want it. So I'm making small gift card purchases once or twice a month maybe but that might just be a pack of photo squares or foam dots.
Online orders - I probably place a small ish order at SG a couple of times a year, I'll pick up some things off my ACOT wish list if free shipping and my budget align, SB.com is rare.
DH will pick up scrapbook supplies when he sees them at a thrift store or yard sale - how much and how often varies by availability.
The only thing I bought over iNSD was a Gemini Mini (actually it arrived right before the weekend) from Amazon - I have a Gemini Jr but I figured the Mini would get me grabbing single dies more often especially during online crops - so far, that's working. I looked at ACOT and at SG and never hit buy. I have so much, it's hard to justify more tbh when my space is full even after a destash and even after making 600+ pages in 2023 and over 300 so far this year. Even as fast as I scrap, I'm not using much up except adhesive and occasionally a colour of cardstock (and white of course)

I tend to buy something smallish once or twice a month and then make bigger purchases every 2-3 months when I see new collections.

I was thinking once a month, but I go weekly to a second hand craft store and it is hit or miss, but it probably bumps my average up to twice a month.

I can't answer the poll either. It really depends.
New releases I'm actually interested in? Am I in craft-mode and making stuff ? Then I'm shopping more. When I'm not crafting, I'm not usually buying craft stuff unless I run across a really good deal Is there a hole in my stash that needs filled (out of birthday paper, need more blue stuff, used my last piece of orange cardstock etc.) Is there a sale, or free shipping deal?
It really just depends...

Up until last year, I would purchase at least twice a week, every week!! The Lilypad SOSN 50% off sale every Wednesday The Digital Press Publisher's Picks 50% off sale every Tue>Thu Various other sales at The Sweet Shoppe and Katie Pertiet.
When The Digital Press closed down last year, my purchases dropped off. And now I have bought pretty much everything I want at The Lilypad, so it's only if anything new takes my fancy.
I probably make about 4 purchases every month these days, which is more than what the poll offers as a choice.

I chose 2x a month but it is usually More often. I subscribe to Ali Edwards which is monthly (and current sub 2 of her kits) and then buy something else either from her or another shop/s at least once a month.

If I am subbing, then monthly. If not a subscription, all over the place. A sale, a new release, 'feeling sorry' retail therapy.

I voted 3 times a year which doesn’t include photo printing supplies.

I voted once a month but like others it really varies. I have some months I may make multiple purchases then go for several months without buying anything. Sales & free shipping play a big part in my shopping as well!

I buy monthly, I have a Hip Kit subscription. But, I also average a quarterly buy as well, if you count special purchases like December Daily, travel lines and new releases.

Depends for me also - I chose Quarterly. But it also depends on sales and collection releases and if I attend an event.

I chose semi-annually for physical product....I still haven't purchased any physical product this year, but did get some digital stuff. I usually wait and shop at the Expo in August, then whatever I don't find there, I will usually do an order for Black Friday to get the things I saw during the year if they are still in stock and available.
I find making wishlists and waiting works for me because a lot of times when it comes down to buying I don't really need it or I've found a stash replacement!

... until new product comes out ... Most brands reveal & ship new collections monthly (or bi-monthly/every two months)!

Like many have said, the frequency of purchases varies. And the $$ involved. I just cancelled my Spellbinders' kits, and that was the only given.

... until new product comes out ... Most brands reveal & ship new collections monthly (or bi-monthly/every two months)! I do know product releases monthly-ish. What I meant by waiting "until new products comes out" is more in regards to seasonal type releases >> Creativation recently happened, though I had some products waiting in my cart.....I waited until after Creativation, to see if I wanted any of the new product that was released. I added some things to my cart....now I am waiting until there is a decent "free shipping" offer, then I will click "place order".

Probably more like 3 times a month. I always buy on the 1st (Not Just For Boys kits) and then I usually have an order from ACOT, and an occasional order from Peachy Cheap, Temu, Scrap Your Trip, Scrapbook.com, etc. I definitely buy twice a month.

I chose every other month but at times it might be a couple of purchases in a month and other times I might go several months, I think.
I decided to look up my scrapbook dot com account and see if I was being honest with myself… It went Jan, Feb, May, July, Aug, Oct for the past couple of years, but then I noticed an entire year from one May to another without a purchase 2022-23!! I guess I was using up things I had bought.
I think I tend to buy for specific card drive projects. I do buy a few things here and there from a couple of other companies but probably not more than twice a year each, and I probably buy cardstock from Joann on a similar schedule.

Concur with most of the sentiments shared already - highly variable, and depends on many factors.
Big purchases, maybe a couple times a year at most, and those will be planned out well in advance, budgeted for, reconsidered multiple times, and left to stew to make sure it's not an impulse buy.
More frequent but less predictable buys come in the form of "take advantage of this 50% off coupon to add a marker or pen", or visits to the thrift shop/dollar store where it's a "buy it if you see it, because it may not be there next time" deal.

I picked twice a month, but that is probably more of an average. I have months I buy nothing. Then a release will come along and several different companies will have new things that I want and I will make several purchases in a month. It also depends if it is scrapbook supplies versus stamping supplies. It feels like there is more urgency for scrapbooking supplies. Stamping supplies often are saved on a waitlist until I am ready to make more purchases.

I picked Monthly, but like most, my purchasing frequency varies. And sometimes a purchase is an order from an online store and other times it's an obsolete item on eBay or a single metal die or paint pen from Amazon. I am more likely to make a purchase when I am scrapbooking a lot and find I need an item for a page I'm working on.

Monthly for me since I belong to Elle's Studio kit club. Some months I only get the kit, others I'll add on a thing or two. If there's a really good sale I may buy something but in general it's only once a month.

I chose 2x a month but here is my caveat. I have 3 subs so those are monthly purchases and I often include add ons. And then, during certain projects and times of years like WITL, Dec Daily and usually some travel collections then those are separate from the monthly sub purchases. And even during Dec Daily, I may see some inspo and do more smaller buys - it just depends. Sometimes I have special projects and then I am buy several things over the course of a couple of weeks, but that is not often.
The last several years, my buying has reduced to being driven by subs, annual projects and then special projects vs me wanting the latest and greatest collections and products as they come out.
