Basically nothing happened. They couldn't find a tumor, did not take a biopsy, and found nothing of concern.
I spent an afternoon waiting for VA transportation home. I was not allowed to leave the recovery room as I was sedated for the operation, and would most certainly would have keeled over without their close monitoring.
I did bring a mat and craft knife with extra blades and a few pages of a raincoated girl w/umbrella, to cut out for ATC's. I only managed about 5 because the chair:table ratio was uncomfortable.
The nurses were great as usual. They would bring sodas or coffee, and sandwiches, or anything else I wanted, like a warm blanket or a pillow.
I guess the bottom line is, I'm OK for now. I thank each and every for your concerns and well wishes. YOU ARE AWESOME!!!

Absolutely happy for the good news you were given. Take it easy for awhile. May not have seemed like a major deal, but any time you go under and have a procedure, it takes a toll on the body. Rely on friends and neighbors for any help they provide. They enjoy being able to help.
