Hi, all,
It's time again to sign up for our quarterly card exchange. This one for Quarter 3 2024 is all about happy mail/summertime. This exchange will be open for sign up until June 8th. I'll get the list sent out shortly after the sign up closes. Cards are due by the end of August.
Rules (as usual):
1. You may use the name and address that you’re comfortable sharing. PEA name only? OK! First name only? OK! Dog’s name? OK! PO Box? OK! The form does require your Pea name in order that we can satisfy the requirement of rule 4.
2. The type of card you send (handmade, store bought, photo, postcard) is entirely up to you.
3. Please send to as many PEAS as you are able to. Please note that you may receive more or less cards than you send out.
4. This exchange is for active members of the board. Therefore, the exchange is restricted to members with at least 50 posts (Junior Member rank) only.
Interested? Here's the link to sign up. <<closed>>
Thanks everyone. I'll do my best to answer any qustions you might have.
Since someone usually asks, the quarterly exchanges are not limited, but they've been running between 25-30 participants on average for the last couple of years.

Two questions. When do the cards need to be sent by? I have an 93 year old mother that is in beginning stages of dementia. We try to have people coming and going all the time, 7 days a week, but she forgets that people have come to see her and complains about being lonely. I was wondering if I could have cards sent to her and in exchange I will send out card to those on this sign-up list? I would benifit two fold as I would be able to see all the talent as well. If not, I totoally undrestand. Thanks!!!

Cards are due by the end of August and if you want your cards to go to your mother, I don't see why anyone would object to that. Just put a note in the mailing comments part of the form.

I have a friend who was a having a hard year so gave her address as the recipient. It worked out well! I sent cards and she got cards.

Signed up, thanks for hosting! snyder I'm sorry about your Mother's memory issues. Losing short term memory is a terrible thing. You have no idea how much of life it affects until it happens. Sending her cards is a wonderful idea! She can look at them over and over. Having photo albums for her to look at helps too.

She's also religious, so no problem with God bless you or think of you or prayers.
