As a spin-off of this thread, what are your top THREE favorite &/or most-used (current, not including defunct/past) BRANDS for embellishments (e.g. ephemera/diecuts, stickers, enamel dots), & why? TIA.

Favorites:
Simple Stories 'Page Pieces' (large title and die cuts)
Doodlebug 'Odds & Ends' die cuts
Border punches - I really like the CM border maker cartridges, I prefer generic designs like scallops that can be used for any type of layout.
Least Favorite:
Echo Park, one of their designers told me they use the same shape dies to make the ephemera for every collection. They are too small and need to be upgraded.

I find Pinkfresh embellishments to be very versatile. I also like VB embellishments. Otherwise I pick and choose based on the specific embellishment

What glue do you use for the PF glitter drops? Those are cool!

*Cocoa Vanilla (It’s ALL about the florals!) *Simple Stories (I use a lot of stickers/foam stickers, and enamel dots, but love the florals) *Vicki B (LOVE her puffy phrases, diecuts and stickers. Wish she had dedicated floral packs) *49 & Market (LOVE their leaves and butterflies and enamel dots) *Elle’s Studio *Pretty Little Studio

What glue do you use for the PF glitter drops? Those are cool! Just regular white glue. I use Art Glitter Glue, but any of the white glues would likely work (Bearly Arts, Gina K Connect, etc.).

... Least Favorite: Echo Park, one of their designers told me they use the same shape dies to make the ephemera for every collection. They are too small and need to be upgraded. Was this a recent conversation!?! Last summer, the company introduced a Titles/Phrases to certain collections, in addition to its usual Ephemera & Frames/Tags packs. I hoped the diecuts would then be more strictly segregated: only words in Title/Phrases, frames/tags (& perhaps versatile/non-themed tabs, labels, etc. in the collection's color palette) in Frames/Tags, & themed diecuts corralled in Ephemera. Unfortunately, IMHO the contents of all three packs are similar (i.e. words, frames, & themed icons are found in all of them)! ETA: For example, check out the upcoming July release, Sweater Weather: Ephemera, Frames/Tags, & Titles/Phrases.

No one does embellishments like Simple Stories. So good. I also like 49 and Market. Lots of variety with that brand.

49 & Market, hands down. I love all of their embellishments. Tickets, frames, film strips, laser cuts, layering pieces, rub-ons, chipboard, etc. I love them all. So good.
Simple Stories has nice die cuts and stickers.
Shadnee (on Etsy) has wonderful wood and acrylic pieces with great themes. I love her stuff. Unfortunately, she took this month off, but she said she will be back in July with new stuff. Yay!
Honorable mention to Doodlebug: Enamel dots, gems, washi tape, die cuts, Doodle pops, and alphabets. I use a lot of their stuff. Except for the die cuts and Doodle pops, you can use them on pages that don't have a "cutesy" theme.
Also honorable mention to Pinkfresh: I love their frames and stickers.
Dishonorable mention to Echo Park. I hate their die cuts- always the same and so wordy. They never have organic shapes, always those same die shapes, as mentioned up thread. Honestly, the only thing I like about the company is their stencils. I love their stencils.

The ephemera packs and the tags/frames packs are still the same. But the titles/phrases are a little different so that is good.

49 & Market - It's just awesome stuff - diecuts, ephemera, rub-ons, filmstrip frames, LAZER CUT diecuts w/no white edges ! Simple Stories - Great sticker sheets and emphemera and journaling pieces Vickie Boutin - Verbiage on stickers and diecuts is not as 'same old same old' as a lot of other manufacturers on the market.

LAZER CUT diecuts w/no white edges ! I know, right? I love those things. I am so not a fan of white borders. I tend to use my white border stickers on white background papers so that the border isn't as noticeable. 49 & Market is the only company doing laser cuts, and I love them so much. I just used the new Academia ones yesterday. I think I have packs from 4 different lines and I pull them out all of the time.

I find Pinkfresh embellishments to be very versatile. ... It will be interesting to see which existing embellishments the company continues to offer - & especially the new ones introduced - at its (scrapbooking) relaunch in 9-15 months!

Enamel dots: Altenew! I love that they have BIG reasonably priced packages that have 3 different colours and 3 different sizes plus some hearts and stars.
Die cuts: Vicki. I find hers generic and plentiful in a package
Stickers: the Simple Stories sticker books include such a great variety - a page of florals/icons, a page of circles, an alpha, a page of word strips - and more. I think it's a good value and goes a long way.

... Pinkfresh chipboard flair ... It seems only Pinkfresh offers/ed chipboard flair, which is surprising given it seems to sell out quickly (& is actually restocked) at online retailers. For this reason, I expect chipboard flair will still be included in its collections when the company resumes its scrapbooking releases in 9-15 months!

I don't use sequins & have never seen them without holes! It appear this would make them easier to adhere. TFS.

While I don't use liquid glue, Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive seems to be popular (at least with the couple YTers that I watch on occasion).

49 and market - die cuts and rub ons Pink fresh die cuts and stickers (loved their puffies), but only Geralyn designed.
And then I do love Ali Edwards DD and then some ad hoc from other annual projects embellishments - plastic tags, circles, hearts, stars, tabs, sometimes die cuts, vellum hearts or stars, pocket embellishments. I also dislike some of her stuff but if I look at my stash and projects, I have used a ton of her stuff over the years.
Honorable mention:
Heidi Swapp has had some super creative one off embellishments in her stop the blur kits
Elle studio puffy hearts and stars I love
Paper person used to make some awesome puffies too
