I have a great candy corn story...
In 5th grade there was a contest to see how many candy corns were in a jar. It was like a gallon size jar. I won it. I guessed within 1 piece. (Just LUCKY). I ate candy corn until I couldn't look at it anymore.. lol.. It was years before I could eat it again. I do love it. I especially love the caramel ones which are impossible to find.

Pure sugar. LOL. Now mellocreme - love mellocreme candy. I can only find it in the fall in pumpkin shapes. I used to be able to find a red & white Valentine version, but that has been missing for the last few years.  I found red, white and pink roses mellocremes at Valentine’s Day at Target! The flavors were strawberry cupcake, sugar cookie and party punch. Sooo good! Every once in a while I can find some at Easter but the flavors are more generic. |

Love it. Somewhere I have the recipe for it, and eating it while it's still warm and fresh is just ridiculously bad for my waist and teeth. I haven't made it in years!

I love candy corn, especially mixed with peanuts. Eating them together tastes like a Payday bar.
I read something about candy corn yesterday and was craving it, oddly enough.

I will only eat it if it has been mixed with salted dry roasted peanuts. I find that combination impossible to leave alone. I look forward to fall just to combine a bag with a jar of peanuts. |

I love candy corn. I know but I just do. One of my favorite things is with vanilla ice cream, dropping them in one at a time so they don't get hard. No idea how I started doing that but I will do it once a season when Bachs candy corn comes out.

I like it all, it’s a hit of pure sugar! But I do mourn the departure of the chocolate cats from the Mellocreme mix. Also the loss of the Fudgies from the Kraft Caramels.
