I really love this line. This might be my favourite of their Disney lines and I am very tempted to purchase this to document my childhood trip to Disney. There isn't anything in here that I don't like, and there are several papers of which I would buy multiples.

I don't need any Disney paper right now, but I will say that I have always found the Say Cheese lines to be clever. They absolutely bring so many very specific theme park elements to mind without being able to actually use anything actually "Disney". Like things like embellishments that look like Mickey Ears, but never the full ears.
So I imagine they were very excited to finally be able to actually include Mickey. No almost-Mickey, but real Mickey Mouse.

That is certainly complimentary, given the numerous collections released over the years in the SS Say Cheese series (i.e. Say Cheese 1, 2, 3, 4, Halloween, Christmas, Main Street, At The Park, Adventure At The Park, Fantasy At The Park, Frontier At The Park, Tomorrow At The Park, & the recent May release: Epic, Galaxy, Magic, Tinseltown, & Wild).

Part of me wants to get a few items to make a layout pocket page about DS and his Mickey Mouse he has had since 1st Christmas and his love of Mickey. But then what do I do with the left over stuff??
Those packs of embellishments aren't cheap.

This one is a surprise - I really do like the vintage Mickey. I have enough Disney papers to scrap the (only) 3 trips that we've made to DW but this one might just be the one to actually get me to make those scrapbooks. Thanks for showing us PaperAngel.

Simple Stories must have been thrilled when Steamboat Willie became public domain. Simple Stories always does a fantastic job with Disney lines.
I'll probably get a few pieces because this is my favorite version of Mickey Mouse. And I must have that cow! I need that cow so much. That cow is everything.
The music paper is also very nice.
Did you notice that Simple Stories is making paper that are designed for two-page layouts? There are two papers in this collection and I noticed this also in the vintage Christmas line. That is interesting since I don't see many two page layouts on the internet anymore.

Again, I have no use or need for this collection, but I do like it and the Vintage/Classic Mickey! Would be fun to use with photos from my childhood.

My husband LOVES Steamboat Willie! I need to think about pictures I have from past trips that I can use to make a little mini-book of sorts.

I have no use for this, except maybe cards. I'm tempted to get a few pieces just in case at some point in the next 50 years I have a need for it...

I love many of the b-sides and will pick those up, but the ephemera is a little TOO mickey for me (even tho I love him). I think they did a great job with this line overall.

I think it's super cute! Some of the B sides are versatile for other uses. I don't have any disney pics currently to scrap, so it's a pass for me (for now).

I see the papers for the two page layout and that’s cool… but why the heck don’t they make the pattern of the dots line up in the middle. That’s a big pet peeve for me.

I too love the b-sides and will pick up a few, and I also agree, the ephemera is too much for me. As long as the b-sides match all the other Simple Stories Disney inspired lines, I'll buy a few of those.

I like it, but the last time I went to Disney anything was in 1998. If you're not a collection scrapper & like the color palette, the repeating anchors & helms patterns can be used for boating/crusing/etc. layouts while the non-themed patterns (e.g. dots, plaid) are versatile for use on any layout.

I can't explain why, but the black and white "Steamboat Willie" Mickey has always given me the creeps. I'm sure a lot of people will love it and use it to document their love of Disney, but I will not be one of them.

Those packs of embellishments aren't cheap. Uncertain your scrapbooking style or the scale/size, perhaps the relatively inexpensive Page Pieces, Sticker Sheet, or, if you like detail/fussy cutting, Tags &/or other Elements/cut-apart sheets would provide ample embellishments for one layout without much, if any, left to add to your inventory or donate. HTH.

i can’t wait until modern Mickey comes out of copyright - when is this happening peas? This collection isn’t for me as I’m not an original/vintage Mickey fan but it would be great if I was!

IMHO the designs allow them to be used together for a two-page layout or each separately for a one-page layout.
