Never have had Chinese take out. Actually I can remember only once having eaten any Chinese food. Hard to believe, huh? Just not my thing I guess. Are you in an area that has Chinese Restaurants? We have family in TN who just don't have any decent Chinese food, whereas, I can name at least 5 Chinese restaurants within 3 miles of my house. There are a few Chinese restaurants where I live and many more in the larger city near me. But as far as are they good I don’t know. I see people asking on the Next Door App where to get good Chinese food here and almost always the answer is restaurants in our neighboring city.

Before we lived in Asia, we liked General's Tso's Chicken and lo mein. There are no good American-Chinese restaurants in our town. We have some but the reviews are dire. We have Thai and Asian fusion but I've gotten a lot pickier. When we go someplace with good Chinese restaurants we love dim sum, and at fusion restaurants we like pork bao, Korean bulgogi beef, and crispy duck.
