she's gorgeous! congrats! we lost our chow mix a couple of years ago and we miss her so much. she was the same color as your dog with the same expression in her eyes. must be a chow thing.

Does he have a speckled tongue? I had a chow mix and his tongue was all speckled. his tongue is all black, I will try to find a pic my chow lab mix that I had over 15 years ago had a purple spotted tongue, and her tail was curled. The vet said she was part chow looking at her tail and her tongue. She only got to about 60 pounds so I’m sure she had some other mix in her she was a great dog. I miss that dog |

He's adorable - and how good of you to welcome him into your home. Our rescue took months to settle in, and a year later he runs the house better than we do. Gotta love the rescues!!
