Yes I have already bought my daughter a few things and my husband a few things. I have also been setting aside money for my family holiday shopping trips we do each year.

I have picked up a few things. I have a dedicated spot. I also started my little notebook with lists in it.
Last year I gave mostly cash. I'm planning to do that again.
I have been thinking about decorating, because Shiny Bright ornaments keep popping up in my game feed. I do want to buy more for my pencil tree.

I haven't but your post reminds me that I should.
This year has been a doozy for money flying out the windows. I'm not looking forward to trying to budget Christmas in to all of that.

I have about 3/4 of my Christmas savings in place. It seems to get harder knowing what to buy adult children every year, especially the lads. I only have my 3 children and grandson to buy for, so it's not too bad.

I try to stockpile through out the year. I mainly just buy for my parents and dogs. I only get my Dad stuff he can use (like razors, shave cream, etc) and My Mom stuff for the kitchen or yarn so it's just easier to pick that stuff up when it's on sale or if I have coupons or something. I get add ons to Elvis's bark box throughout the year and hoard the toys til Christmas.
As a parent, I'll tell you that I absolutely LOVE when my young adult children buy me practical things!! Coffee and bodywashes are two of my absolute faves.

The past three years have all had large, unexpected expenses for me. I totally get it.

I have ideas, and I did order something from QVC that won’t be delivered until December because it’s a holiday treat. I don’t buy for a lot of people other than my great nieces and nephews and my mom and a couple of friends so it makes it easier.
Our holidays since my dad died in January 2020 and my great nephew passed away shortly after birth three months later, have become more about being with family and sharing that precious time than giving gifts. And honestly, that’s the way it should be. I see people spending way over their budget for what reason? Most adults can buy whatever they need and that’s why we just give to the little ones. But everyone’s family is different and that’s OK

I just started thinking about it when I saw that Amazon Prime Day is coming soon. I need to get my husband and kids together so we can add things to our wish list.
