And dear old North Carolinian, Mark Meadows. Who registered this mobile home as his address for voting records.

I have a very vague idea of what it is, just yesterday told my DH that we both need to educate ourselves about it. I THINK it's a blueprint for the next Trump term (and last one forever!) put together by his farthest right advisors. I've heard it's horrifying... now I need to do my research. Thanks for asking the question. I think we all need to be aware of it and tell all of our friends and family about it! With Project 2025, if Trump wins, we will never see another president again. So even IF he wins, this won't be his last rodeo. Agreed!!

It scares me! But I am glad to see that it has popped up for discussion on my NextDoor app and the ones responding are all opposed to it. I hope the messages gets out to more people. Here they say it’s not real that it’s just made up by the liberals as a scare tactic. I’m in a very Trumpy area. Lots of veterans in our area. Fascinating that they think it’s disturbing enough to be a scare tactic, but have no interest in knowing more.

Exactly but if they think it’s a scare tactic why would they bother reading over 900 pages. Some bulbs from it sound good and some will spin it to sound good but once you look at it in any depth it’s really scary. You can spin most things if you try hard enough. Unfortunately if you read this there is no good way to spin it. The detail of every government agency being changed…

Got to explain P25 to someone today. E-mailed them the link, too, so they could see it with their own eyes.

While every one is talking about whether Biden should run or not, and nothing on TFG and his cognetive issues are not being discussed. Keep in mind that the 2025 fiscal budget starts Oct 1, 2024 and it is their goal to implement project 2025 in that budget!!! The appropriations process for Fiscal Year 2025, which begins in October, is currently underway, with congressional committees engaging in government funding debates that are likely to continue beyond the November elections. *** In keeping with their longstanding support for austerity for ordinary Americans, Republicans in the House and Senate have proposed steep cuts to a wide range of federal programs and agencies dealing with education, environmental protection, Social Security, election administration, national parks, nutrition assistance, antitrust enforcement, global health, and more—all while they pursue additional deficit-exploding tax giveaways for the rich. "Some of the most concerning policy riders in the House Fiscal Year 2025 budget bills include mandates for new oil and gas leasing, prohibitions on the establishment of important protected areas for wildlife and natural ecosystems, and limitations that hinder federal agency ability to regulate polluters, putting water quality, air quality, and the climate at risk," the Surfrider Foundation noted in a statement earlier this week. "Two of the key federal agencies that administer these programs are the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), yet the House budget bills call for a 20% funding cut to the EPA, and a 12% funding cut to NOAA," the group added. www.rawstory.com/gop-austerity-rampage/

We have way too many veteran friends who are in the MAGA camp. My brain still can not understand why any military/veteran would support that orange skin sack of bullshit but I’ve made sure to explain to all of them about Project 2025
That old adage “Money Talks”? That’s made them sit up and take notice. Eliminating concurrent receipt of retirement and disability pay will cost us $2000.00 a month and we aren’t the only ones in that same situation (my DH is rated 100% disabled from military service)
If you know a disabled veteran who supports Trump I highly recommend telling them about this. Getting thru on other issues can be like banging your own head against a brick wall. If the veteran is rated 40% or higher disabled, they’ll be losing somewhere between $1000-2000 a month. Not a small amount by any means

I just don't get how "Christians" can be pro-Trump, when he's broken just about every one of the ten commandments they want posted everywhere. I just don't get it... Project 2025 scares me. src="//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/pirate.png"] As someone who is disabled and has ton of health issues, it scares the sh!t out of me.

Just my opinion - sounds like something someone wrote their thoughts down and someone got ahold of it and took it way out of context. We all know that happens all. the. time. Things are said and then people run off and spin it around. I'm very skeptical of this, for my own reasons. Like I said, just my thoughts on it. I'm not jumping on this bandwagon just yet.

It's not like this is a random scribbled sheet of paper... they have over 900 pages of policies they want to put in place, with a lot of research behind it to try to make it seem reasonable. When Trump admits on video he needs them and a lot of the people who work for him are also recruiting for them? Anyone making these comments, should be taken seriously:

You have already said he will be out for revenge, back in Nov 2023.. With Trump, I fear he will be out for revenge on what's been happening. Something has to change - we are not in a good place. I miss the old America.

A friend posted this today - she's very involved and up to date with things, has read Project 2025 - can't seem to find this in the document though. Was it maybe just talked about by one of the authors? Horrifying!!

Was it maybe just talked about by one of the authors? Horrifying!! I have not been able to verify this as a P25 thing. The best I found was that it was satire based on something one of the P25 peeps said. Similar to a comment being made by another P25 person about removing women's voting rights, but it isn't spelled out in the over 900+ pages. I do know that some other Conservative politicians have mentioned the menstruation tracking though, so it could've also stemmed from that.

I haven’t seen anything about this and P25 but I know there was some talk about this because they were afraid someone would attempt an abortion and this was supposed to document their periods and prevent them. I kind of sounded like a new agency dedicated to following up with this. Don’t they realize that many pregnancies result in miscarriages through no fault of the woman. I would hate that they might have to undergo questioning about one something that is already traumatic and no one else’s business not that an abortion would either but I only heard this once or twice. I thought a congresswoman suggested it as a bill.

Anyone making these comments, should be taken seriously: Just wanted to echo this. 900 pages is not something that was randomly scribbled on a cocktail napkin and taken way out of context. This is a deliberate, comprehensive written plan with lots of extensive details. There's even a published book. This is the plan for the next Republican president, written for Trump but it could be adapted for any Republican president. If you don't believe us, you can read it here static.project2025.org/2025_MandateForLeadership_FULL.pdfwww.project2025.org

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if Trump himself knew little about Project 25 (at least the written version). They could be using him to further their agenda. But he would go along with it if it meant him being in power and having their support. Not to mention that so many of them were part of his administration and he echoes many of their talking points in his speeches.
Groups like this (such as American Experiment and Moms for Liberty) give speeches around the country (like in my town) in efforts to rally people to vote for people like them for school board and city council as well as other positions in government. It is well coordinated, not something that was scribbled down and taken out of context. People need to wake up before voting for them.

I agree I highly doubt he has read it all but he will go along with it. Many of the concepts have been said by him at one point or another. This document has been in the works for a while so it’s been well thought out and during his last term he started schedule F was it which was the starting point to start firing people by reclassifying their jobs. Biden overturned it but they have this plan and it’s much more thought out than the last time snd more pieces such as the SCOTUS are in place to make it easier to accomplish this. NO ONE should have as much power as this plan puts into place. I don’t care if it were things I agreed with I still wouldn’t think it was right. There are three branches of government for a reason. This plus his revenge tour is just wrong. I know some think that TFG legal issues are all political but he has had over 3500 legal cases in his life. This is nothing new just the crimes are more serious now. He lies and lies snd lies snd people believe him especially because he just keeps repeating them. He admitted to more than one person that he knew he lost but it’s an ego thing. I don’t think he really wanted to run the first time but then was kind of goaded into it snd once he got a taste of power snd adoration he couldn’t stop. He is a narcissist and the rallies just feed into this. He has changed his stances a few times. At one point he was for pride he even had merchandise but his fans weren’t so he changed his stance to get their adoration probably felt that way all along but I remember while he was running the first time he wasn’t saying anything bad about it but that quickly changed after he got in office and became a hot topic.

You have already said he will be out for revenge, back in Nov 2023.. Your are right, I did. Things change. His desire for revenge is only escalating. Try Liz Cheney before a military tribunal on live television? Umm, really? Cut, not eliminate, all veteran benefits including disability... Shut down the whole Dept of Education,? Cut special ed funding? ETA; Cut veterans' benefits. Not eliminating them. Someone up thread said their veteran benefits might be cut $1000-$2000 a month!!

We know TFG knows it all, maybe not all the fine details. Otherwise how could he disagree??

And if by early 2018 most of his agenda was done why does he need to run again because then he surely finished it by the end of his term lol. 😂
